The Yuyang was always a place to stay because it was convenient to the office. I remember the Yuyang, years ago, being extremely ordinary Chinese hotel and the only reason to stay was because it was close to the office. In the lead up to the 2008 Olympics, it underwent a full refurbishment. It now has much more going for... More

I visited in this hotel for one week. As I came for a conference, I had no option than staying here because the organizers had booked this hotel for the event. There are positives and negatives of the hotel. First up the price was reasonable as it cost around 100 $ per a day. Though it is the winter, heating... More

Was there for less than 14 hours stay. They gave me a smoking room and it wasn't the easiest to catch a cab there. Room is fairly compact with barely enough room to walk. Bed is hard but the pillow is nice. Hotel service is near nonexistent.

I spent two nights here, after a late arrival. I was gone most of the first day, so didn't get to experience too much of the hotel and the area. What I did see looks pleasant, with some parks, a small river, etc. It was a nice and comfortable room. I slept well and it was quiet. Options for pillows... More

In the past, this hotel was a good level hotel in a convenient area. Now - as often happens in China - it shows all its years and especially its poor level of service and management. Do you arrive after a long trip? FORGET to have someone helping you with your luggage. So you need help from the concierge? FORGET... More

I visited beijing for the first ever time and stayed at this hotel. An old vintage hotel but really well maintained and falls in good budget too. The hotel was centrally located between mine and my customer's office. Good ambience and nice amenities. I would not mind staying there again as long as I have to.

The hotel is nice overall, very convenient location, close to the subway and nice restaurants around. It has a nice indoor lap pool the only problem is that you have to go outside of the hotel to enter the pool. Since I was there in November with cold weather this was inconvenient. there are three restaurants inside the hotel with... More

Was put up at the Yu Yang Hotel for about 13 days for work. Absolutely no complaints. This hotel delivered the essentials, and in my opinion justified its 5-star tag. Breakfast was great, wide spread of Asian and Western, with an egg station and some good Asian soups. I would say 9/10 of the hotel staff were friendly and extremely... More
