After a long flight to Beijing we were so pleased to be greeted by a very happy and friendly Anita and her colleague at the airport! It was just what we needed in the early hours of the morning!

We followed the signs through the airport to find a public Taxi and then the signs just stopped. There were men in Uniforms that looked official but they couldn't speak English to direct us so ended up like in Thailand to barter with a private driver.
The experience wasn't so bad in the end, he put the address into his GPS (Phone) and raced down the highway and was there in no time. PEK private drivers appear to be pretty safe, might cost 10% more than a public taxi, but it was a nice car and we got to the hotel with no problems.
Hope hat Helps.
