I stayed there for 3 nights. The Breakfast was minimal a mixture of western and Asian food. Right outside is Lucky Street that has all kinds of interesting food. The Solana Mall is also an easy walk with many more restaurants and shops. The hotel is not the newest and need some fixing. It was clean. Take care that you... More

This hotel is very similar to Japanese business hotel. A room is enough space, bed is very comfortable, some staff can speak Japanese, toilet has washing function. However bath room is very narrow such as unit bath, facilities are a little old, breakfast menu is a little poor and mainly Chinese style. I think this hotel is suitable for business... More

A local Chinese person told me that façade is very important in China. I don't know if that's true, and I don't mean to generalize, but that seemed to be true in this instance. The lobby was very shiny, large and clean...the bedroom just the opposite. Possibly the smallest bathroom I have ever seen, ( except in Paris). Very grungy... More

We stayed 5 nights. The hotel is a little dated and run down in a few places, but you are also not paying 5 star prices. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Everything worked expect for the a/c (do not turn it on until "summer" - although it was over 80F one day we were there - luckily... More

Not a great place. Looks like an 80s hotel that hasn't really been kept up. Wireless only in the restaurant and small rooms. We were there in October and it was cold but we had no heat. After several calls and visits to the front desk we were told the heat comes on at 9:00 pm but it never kicked... More

The 21st Century Hotel is a good value hotel in the northeast of Beijing. (1) Neighborhood The Hotel is realtively close to the airport -- about 25 minutes, assuming good traffic conditions. (Beijing is urban sprawl hell, so this is a good location if you want to be close to the airport.) A taxi from the airport should cost about... More
