location was convenient next to a mall but it is strange- the moment you step out into the mall, there is a very strong toxic smell-like it was newly renovated and the place is not aired. food was not consistent depending on what you order. strong room refreshener smell the moment you step into the lobby gives me a bad...

Me and my wife stayed at the Traders Hotel in Beijing for 4 night in April 2011. It was a comfortable stay. The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of variety and lovely selection of fresh fruit juices. Once you settle down on your table the waitress would come round and offer us new juice to try, which was a lovely touch....

We stayed here for 7 nights and the overall satisfaction was very average. They nickel and dime you with everything! Was shocked when I was asked to follow up with the business center when I disputed a couple of transactions!!

I chose this hotel for two main reasons - 1. its proximity to the metro station and 2. its Shangri-la brand. Both aspects did not fail me. I left as a satisfied customer. This hotel is not brand new, but has managed to keep up with the times. The room I got was a bit on the small side, while...

I arrived late at night, the Hotel pick up is helpful, meeting me when I came out of the aerobridge, but holding a placard asking for Ms Tan instead of Mr Tan.... quite a bit of embarrassment but it I am cool about it. The lobby is simple and comfortable, room is small, and basic. Everything is visibly dated, but...

Located in the heart of the CBD, this hotel was very comfortable, but the area is very crowded even for Beijing. The staff there are very accommodating and remember what you like. While tipping is not the norm in China, I think maybe at this hotel it is appreciated. It is attached to a mall that is like any other...

Great breakfast with lots of choices. The location is near Silkmarket and near Lan Club, which is a must see cocktailbar.

I did not encounter below par service like others have written about. We were put in a room with two beds initially but it was corrected right away. The room is large enough for my needs. The location is close enough to the subway to satisfy me. The free breakfast had good selection everyday. I suppose I wasn't expecting much...

I keep saying I won't go there again, but if you know the rooms are going to be small, service is poor....then its actually not a bad deal for the price. The location is very good. Connection to China Wrols is very good...
