We stayed on the exec floor (13th) and got a reasonable rate through a club. You will pay more for this hotel, but the location and staff are both excellent. No need to take hotel taxis, especially to airport, as Beijing Taxis are cheap and effificient. Many many things within walking distance of hotel. Do check out the breakfast, afternoon...

I stayed there 5 nights and enjoyed my stay. But it was not what I would call an exciting 4 or 5 star hotel. There were several problems and the hotel staff only corrected the problem and did nothing extra. When I arrived, I was escorted to my room which was great because the door lock was broken. I was...

My husband and I stayed for 8 nights in this superb hotel. We had booked a Duplex suite but were upgraded to the Beijing suite when we arrived. I had been in contact with the hotel before our arrival to ensure our booking had been received and to tell them about our anniversary which was to take place whilst we...

They really think of everything, and once you step out of the taxi pulling up at the hotel you really dont need to worry about anything at...

Stayed here for a night of luxury after a month of backpacking - for a promotional rate of only $145! The DVD selection and the plasma TVs were a nice touch, and the staff is very helpful. I do have to agree with the previous comment about the taxi hotel service - you're better off catching one on the street...

I've got to concur with a previous review that while the Beijing Pen is pretty good-it does pale in comparison with its namesake in Hongkong or Manila. I was so ready to be wowed at first glance; I suppose my expectations were over-reaching upon arrival. For starters, it is not an easy walk to the Forbidden City--it's a good 25...

Excellent hotel. Service was great. From the time of check-in we were whisked to the club level where we were served drinks & snacks while they processed our check-in. Anything we asked was done promptly. They try to meet your every need. The entire staff was extremely friendly. I was impressed how ell they spoke English. Workout facilities & pool...
