Good location close to the forbidden city, and also close to the metrostation. Perfect! Nice staff and clean room, but it was a bit too hot in the hotelroom, and it smelled sigarets. Ask after a sigaret-free room if you dont like the smell :)

I have visited the Capital Hotel annually for many years, but this is my first review of the hotel. I have seen always been pleased with the service from the hotel, and was once again satisfied this January even though they were undergoing some renovations to their entrance. The rooms are always well cared for and clean, and the morning...

Big rooms and good facility as pool, spa, restaurant and so on. the only problem is the difficult communications with desk people and the old furniture on the rooms. position is the main point just few minute away Tiananmen Square.

I have been living in Beijing for over 4 months as an English teacher now. My partner has just moved to do the same. I decided to book us a special treat in a 5* reputable hotel for our first night. It's a very beautiful hotel. They have a lot of facilities and the decor is impressive. The rooms are...

Hotel was outdated, room was extremely hot without AC. They explained that it was winter and the AC was shut off but when it is 25C in the room, I would like a way to cool it down without having to leave the front door and windows open all the time especially with the construction going on outside... I booked...

The Capital hotel was very nice and situated in a good area close to some of the main sightseeing areas of Beijing. The room was excellent. Very large with all amenities and very clean. Two bottles of water were available without charge each day. We had breakfast included in our stay and there was lots of choice. We ate in...

My wife and I stayed on the 11th floor of this hotel last week and were not disappointed. It is in a great location very near to the Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City(a few blocks and approximately 10-15 mins. walk). The hotel itself appears more than a few years old but in very good condition. It was clean with a...

Very nice hotel & friendly. Staffs are very polite and helpful. We had a great time staying at this hotel. But they need to be well expert in English to communicate with international guests. Overall, good arrangement with very small issues.

Couldn't recommend the Capital Hotel in Beijing more highly. Checking in early was NO issue and we were even provided an upgrade. First impressions were of a top class hotel with a very spacious and clean well set out foyer. The room was excellent with a bathroom area alone being almost as big as a flat and containing both a...

We stayed here for three nights as we wanted to see a good bit of Beijing and the surrounding area and off course visit the Badaling section of The Great Wall. When we arrived the hotel was very busy as a lot of competitors for the Great Wall Marathon had also booked in to stay. The reception staff were nice...
