I stayed here very recently . The room was in poor repair . The bathroom had urine stains on the toilet seat . Yes on top of the seat and below. The sheets were washed but stained. Only stayed for 12 hours as was on a layover to Vietnam. Wouldn't stay again. Location was very good tho .

Staff was not friendly. Breakfast was terrific- there even tea or coffee were not offered...there were some 2 kinds of grass like cabbage offered in menu. And most terrible thing during our stay was when we asked in reception to call for a taxi. They said that taxi service not available at all and we must use only their offered...

Located in a nice Chinese neighbourhood or 'hutong', next to the Qianmen & Dashilan Shopping Areas and surrounded by many local restaurants and sundry shops. Walking distance to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. From the Beijing Airport, I took the Airport Express train to Dongzhimen followed by the Beijing Subway from Dongzhimen to Qianmen Station. Then it is a 1.0...

worst hotel, beds were hard, mattress was dirty, shower pressure was terrible and bathroom so small that when you shower the whole toilet gets wet. only got room service twice, despite staying 5 nights. Toilet clogged twice! only good thing is the location. would rather pay more money for a decent hotel. do not stay!!

With this hotel you definitely get what you pay for. I paid £93 for 4 nights, which is a bargain. However there was no mattress on the bed, just a box spring with a mattress topper over it. There is no usable heating in the room and our kettle was broken. The bathroom was really moldy as well, and the...

Booked a stay here for 10 nights. The room is OK, quite small but we aren't here to spend time in the room so it was fine. Saw a couple cockroaches and a few mosquitoes in the room. Beds really comfortable and nice to have AC/heating. Towels changed daily and sheets every 3 days apparently. We had to ask after...

First time in China - we wanted a good value courtyard hotel, in a hutong, within walking distance of T-Square, Forbidden City, a buzzy pedestrian street and the Metro. The Beijing Hyde Courtyard Hotel ticks all these boxes. The rooms are on three floors along open passageways overlooking a central indoor courtyard so although very small, not claustrophobic. The bedlinen...

I'll start by saying we have never been to China before, so weren't sure what to expect on this trip. Prior to staying at Hyde Hotel we had been in Shanghai and YangShuo in some great places. The biggest draw for us was the location and proximity to shopping, restaurants, Tianamen Square, and the Forbidden City. I knew we had...

The room is quite small, just about fit in 2 person. The toilet, esp the water drainage, was really bad. Wifi connection was decent. There's also sitting area (supposedly a restaurant) at level 1, which you can rest and eat if you buy take-away. The receptionists were generally unfriendly and unhelpful, so figure your own way. But it's value for...

I stay in this hotel always when I come to Beijing. It is centrally located, in a nice hutong. The house is an old Chinese house. beautiful rooms for resting. Rooms are small but cosy. Bathroom, AC, wifi work. staff very helpful and friendly and English speaking. Excellent value for money.
