A little pricey for China, but definitely worth it in my opinion. The staff is excellent, very helpful and tend to speak very good English as well. The computer in the common area has a VPN so you can access facebook and gmail. Breakfast is also very good here (there is also a nice bakery nearby). The hostel also has...

The best part of the hostel is that everyone who stays in it is very friendly and adventurous. We met many people through the hostel and they were all very interesting. The staff of the hostel is also very friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is also very good - a few station stops from the center of...

The hostel is really easy to find, located 2 minutes from the subway Zhangzizhonglu, make sure you exit at the D section. you can see a hostel sign from the end of the street. On arrival the staff are helpful, they speak excellent English, have snacks and water you can buy and it's very easy and quick to check in....

Thoughtfully and comfortably furnished, the Peking Yard Hostel is a really charming place full of character and very good value for money. The roof garden and the bar/dining room area downstairs are lovely places to spend some time and feel very relaxed and cosy. Food menu is ok and quite reasonably priced, but definitely not a patch on sister hostel's-...

We chose the double room option and we had a nice stay in this hostel. The room was clean, simply but nicely decorated (thus the paint was a bit old and the door not very well insulated > few holes in the wood). The insulation may not be sufficient in winter, we were there in may so we can't tell....

Great location easy walk from subway station with friendly and accommodating staff. The dorm beds are big and really soft for Chinese standards- which was a pleasant surprise. The courtyard provides a beautiful oasis from the bustling city streets just 150m away and the rooftop patio is full of colorful flowers. One morning there was even someone practicing the flute...

The hostel is close to the forbidden city and it is in a nice district. We stayed there for 5 days, in a mixed room. The rooms are clean and also the restroom. Moreover the staff speak english and they are really nice with guests! The lobby of the hostel is really cool. I suggest this hostel.

The best advice I can give you is stay in the ensuite dorms, those are the ones inside that gorgeous building you see in the pictures, the other dorms are across the street. This hostel has a bar, restaurant, and tour desk!!! It is right off the subway stop and easy to find. You get off at Zhangzizhong Lu Station,...

The staff were so helpful here- helped me to book my train ticket back to Shanghai for a tiny fee and their directions were also very helpful. I liked the location down a quiet street, felt very relaxed. The bedrooms and communal areas were great and very clean- great facilities including free safety depositi box at reception plus extra locker...

We arrived at the hostel at around 0100. The hostel was a bit difficult to find since its in a small alley/street. We initially booked the 6-bed dorm en-suite, but only to find out that we didn't have a private toilet/shower. Bed is OK and cozy, Room is also OK but a bit small. We went there during end of...
