I can only review this hotel on our own experience of it - some of which were down to bad luck and probably wouldn't be repeated. Firstly, the good : - we went (our own fault) to its sister hotel round the corner after our arrival on a long flight from the U.K. We were greeted pleasantly and someone was...

It is hard to find clean and cozy hotels in Beijing without going luxury. Well this is a cheap alternative: clean, located in a nice hutong full of bars, nice staff (google translate is one of them). Cons: breakfast is quite poor and the bathroom is surrounded by glass doors. After all, for the price you pay, this is excellent.

Hotel is located in hutongs, not far from subway station, Lama Temple and temple of Confucius. Stuff was very nice, friendly and helpfull. The rooms were very clean. The only minus is bathrooms made of glass, other then this, hotel is really nice, I would recommend it.

Hotel is located near to many eateries and shop. Front desk staffs are very helpful and kind. Hotel is decorated with olden Chinese memories. The soft music of old Chinese songs and decoration brings out the rock flavours of the olden China.

We booked this hotel based not only on the very reasonable cost, but also on the excellent Tripadvisor reviews. They weren't wrong ... this is a little gem, tucked away amongst the hutongs of Beijing. Don't let the area put you off, it's very authentic, if a little grim looking! Also very safe. Staff were very friendly, we were welcomed...

This hotel it quite basic but the staff is very friendly and they give you the basics you need. Expect no frills but the hutong neighborhood it is in is great and makes up for it. There is good food, drinks and nice little streets close by. This is a great thing to have in Beijing.

Over 12 days we stayed twice at the Nostalgia Hotel and apart from not very practical rooms (limited storage facilities and bathrooms with lack of privacy as well as hardly any shelving/hooks) we will come back here. The staff is truly great and the location is superb. Close to the Lama and Confucius Temples and masses of local eating and...
