Reasonable hotel in Hutong area. Great location to walk to main lane about 60 metres away that is always alive with people walking and eating and enjoying themselves. The hotel is not the cleanest and when we arrived the safe was closed so I asked for it to be opened and a maintenance man and the maid managed to open... More

Traditional view hotel looks very nice on website. Even cortyard and lobby looks very nice, decorated in old-china style. But rooms are not so nice - old, decrepit and trashy furniture, bad smell, dirty carpet covered with a spots, a lot of dust in a room. The only advantage of this hotel - location in a very heart of Hutong,... More

we tried the standard and the feature room. The standard is a good value for money. The room is good but the matress extremely soft, not good. The room is clean but the daily clean not very effective. Also there just a little bit of light what make it perfect for late morning sleeps and very hard to wake up.... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our way to Shanghai. The location is awesome, this next to the bustling walking street of Nanlouguxiang. However the hotel staff was rude and despite booking a window room they allocated us a room without a window. The room was spacious but wasnt clean. The bed was hard as a rock... More

First time in China, this hotel served as a comfortable yet strategic residence for exploring central Beijing and beyond. It's the heritage of the Hutong that sells this hotel unique character and location. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants about 2 mins across from Jiaodaokou Street with a 24 hr vendor outside the hotel. Rooms very comfortable and spacious, breakfast... More

Good location, 10mins to subway station, however hotel room does not have working fridge... Our standard room had a small bar fridge but was not plugged in, when called reception they told us it was for show only and don't even know if it's in working condition...

Very well located inside Hutong area. Nice personnel and ok price ratio for the rooms. This is not a new hotel and you could see that but everything was absolutely clean. As the breakfast was not included in the price we did not have it. And there were no lobby bar for a coffee or other drinks. Two bottles of... More

The hotel is located in a Hutong, which gives it a traditional feel. Taxis barely drive in so be prepared to walk to the main road. The location is good, as both sides of the alley lead to busy streets with restaurants, bars and shops. The housekeeping is poor, beds had creases every day. We had a triple room, it... More

This hotel looked great on the website, and we were told it was close to the subway station and so we decided to use the subway from the airport. Once we got to the station, none of the taxis would take us to the hotel. We then had to walk for a long time with suitcases. The hotel is in a... More

The hotel is in a good location, near to the Fobidden City, etc. There's a metro stop about ten minutes away, and the alleys around the hotel have lots of shops and little restaurants, which are great to wander at night. Since it's in a narrow hutong, cabs generally don't stop at the hotel but at the street outside the... More
