My wife and I stayed at citytel inn for 5 days during the last week of January 2016. We were on the 3rd floor which is the same as the breakfast buffet restaurant they had. Buffet was convenient of you're not trying to find a breakfast spot during the below freezing temps in Beijing during January. They have various dishes... More

Stayed here December 2015 for 7 nights. The reception does not speak English but the one in charge of the tours does. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk to Forbidden City and also around 10 minutes walk to Wang Fu Jing street where the shopping and food district is. Across the street is Niu Ge Dumpling restaurant, which is... More

The hotel is in a very centric location, one stop by metro away from Tiananmen, you can walk if you want to. A couple of blocks away from Wangfujing food street. Staff is very helpful and attentive. My room had the basic amenities, warm water, clean towels, it was clean and was good for staying the 3 nights I spent... More

The hotel location is good because it is near to few tourist spots. Walking distance to Forbidden City 紫禁城. It is a the downtown and easy to get taxi. Hotel room small and some rooms design with no windows. Overall expectation: Budget hotel, do not expect too high.

I had to spend one night somewhere in the center. Not wanting to go the second time to the same hotel I chose this one. I traveled alone and took a single room. It was tragic. No windows (that I could take), poor ventilation resulting in the air basically standing in the room making it after some time humid and... More

The budget hotel for tourist. The Location of the hotel just perfect.., beside Forbidden City. Behind Wangfungjin Street. So... only walking distance to many attraction in the main area. The budget hotel only for bed and breakfast. With longway coridor and small/tiny room for standard type.

Rooms were located in a rabbit warren of hallways....good luck in a fire. Hallway carpets were very worn and ripped, walls were filthy. My room was dirty and smelt. Staff were unfriendly and rude. Not motel status and should be listed as backpacker accom.
