We stayed here during the school holiday and it was excellent. The rooms are big and very clean, the pool and spa area was very nice to relax in too! The thing we enjoyed most about staying here was the excellent service from reception staff and service staff. Elena went above and beyond to help us plan a trip and even contacted places for us to help us book tickets which we were very grateful for. We had a club room, so we were able to access the lounge and order food and had complimentary drinks. The food was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!
Stayed here for 1,5 weeks for business. Altough the hotel is not the newest, it is very stylish and in perfect condition. Most of all is the more than amazing service of all staff. This is a significant difference compared to the other 5 star hotels here. Special thanks to Elena but also Ava and Vivian. The spa services are highly recommended. The quality of the food via roomservice is outstanding! Super hotel!
Unacceptable service at breakfast, which is due to systemic management issues leading to staff frustration and poor customer service. Some examples include: 1. The egg chef was playing on his phone while cooking — this is incredibly unsanitary as phones are full of bacteria. I asked him politely for an omelette and he he said no, quite impolitely - there was a huge pile of eggs there but he couldn’t be bothered to crack any more (it was before the end of breakfast). 2. There was no ladle in the yogurt - this was the case on two out if three days. 3. My cutlery was laid out for me with visible dirt on it. 4. There was no milk for the cereal. 5. No spoons were provided. 6. A request for milk (there was cereal and no milk…) was met with exasperation/incredulity from the staff when they thought I couldn’t hear. I complained directly to the hotel in writing and requested the contact details of the GM during my stay but I received no reply. …
Firstly, I waited 30 minutes to check-in. It was not a busy day, but the counter processing time was too long. Six to seven guests would take you 30 minutes? I think that's too long. Secondly, my room's window is not closed well. At first, we felt it's a bit cold and we thought it's because of the air conditoiner problem. Until late night, my girlfriend almost got a cold. So I called the service, and the maintanence personel came into my room and found that it's because of the window. MY ROOM'S WINDOW WAS NOT CLOSED PROPERY! Can you imagine that happen in a cold winter day in Beijng in a 5 star hotel? No wonder we didn't find out earlier. Who could have thought that it's because the window was not closed? Thirdly, for breakfast, bad experience once more. The waiter brought us to the table and didn't ask what we would like to drink (that's fine to me actually, I can ask or take it myself). Then, we went to grab the food, we came back, and we found that our table was taken by other people. Can you imagine this happen in a 5 star hotel? We were sitted already and booked the table and after a few minutes, our table is gone? It's really nonsense. And the food refill was really slow, a lot of empty plates waiting to be filled. Overall, this is the first time I wrote this long for a negative review. Because your service really ruined my Chirstmas eve, I have to say that.…
Very good location, in central of beijing, near guomao, easy to travel by both taxi or subway. Service is good, nice room and especially the water i like. recommend to live here for business or holiday.
My kids and I had a great stay at the Fairmont Beijing. The hotel lived up to our expectations of a comfortable stay away from home. The location was a plus, with easy access to the subway line. Thank you!
We had a wonderful weekend in this hotel. All the staff was very accomodating from front desk to the Executive Lounge team. Special Thanks to GEM Yummy and Chef Allen for the wonderful arrival preparation. In addition, the room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was very helpful. Felt like home. Once again thank you and will definitely comeback!

Fairmont Beijing Exceptional service / great location Front desk, so friendly, especially Mandy, day manager, genuine smile and efficient process of check in it's a very high service oriented Hotel. One of the best I seen in China, if not the best!
We have been in the hotel because it is owned by the same group like the famous Peace Hotel In Shanghai and the Vierjahreszeiten in Hamburg. The standard of the hotel is quite high but not as high as compared to that other 2 hotels of the same group. We were already surprised when we arrived and found a 3rd bed in our room, so there was almost no space to move but the staff within minutes took it away. The service is attentive, location just ok but not in walking distance to main attractions. We had 3 meals in the hotel, all was ok. The lunch buffet I have specially to praise the quality of Sushi that was really much better than in many buffets, on same high level with good Japanese restaurants.
