Twice have I stayed at the Sandalwood and my overall experience has been positive. The hotel is well located in the east side of the city, relatively close to several of the locations I work in. The entire staff has always been extremely helpful and accommodating. However, there are these instances about cigarette smoke that did bother me. If you...

I am staying at this service apartment since it is near my son's summer school. The location of this apt is outside of the touristic areas but not lacking of modern shopping malls. All major shopping and restaurant areas are within a 10min cab ride (more during peak). This isn't a hotel for a first time visitor to beijing since...

Stayed there once by mistake, as I got confused with the Marriott service apartment next to JW Marriott in Shanghai which were both opposite my office. The Sandalwood Service apartment is not opposite my office in Beijing (though JW Marriott is), and had trouble getting because of the confusion. Overall I feel that this place is good value for money...

We stayed at Marriott Sandalwood for 9 nights over Chinese new year. Reviewed as a service apartment set outside the city centre, the hardware, overall staff and overall experience is of a very good service apartment. If you have your own transport and do not need to be downtown then this is a great place to stay with family. Mostly...

We've stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks in October. The 3 bedroom appartment on 18th floor was cosy and bright. The service is outstanding. Close to ringroad and airport but to go innercity it will take lot of time. Shoppingmall Joycity has a great japanse supermarket, better than Lotus. The park on the corner is nice for relaxing.

Stayed there for one night only, which is clearly what this place is not catered towards. Rooms are very large (mine was a 2 room), and well decorated. Some details however are starting to look tired (already). Breakfast was very plain, service was nice and efficient. Location is slightly out of town.

cheaper then to stay in a hotel for one month ... main disadvantage is if you want to go into the city centre it s too far away and hence too far outside ... the area close by there is nothing around to do ... amentities all great

My husband, teenage son and I stayed here in a 3 bedroom serviced apartment. It is very comfortable and good value. The decor, fixtures and fittings are of a good standard. Great WiFi in all rooms for the 3 of us. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. All the Staff are very helpful and try with their...

I stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip and had a two room standard appartment. On the whole it was very nice, as the pictures show the appartments are fully equipped. Racks in the living room were a bit worn out. I wonder how that could happen as the facility is quite new (most Taxi drivers reufsed to...

Loved the classy, comfortable Marriott apartments. Beautifully appointed rooms. I loved cooking in the spacious kitchen, it felt like a warm home coming after all the sight seeing that Beijing has to offer. The breakfast is really good too!
