Always great hotel to stay in Beijing! Great atmosphere and really helpful staff! Hotel location is perfect for Beijing. You can find shops and great food places around the goner. Rooms are great and also Shangri-La hotels member benefits are always like you wish or even higher than expected. I really can say that Jen doesn’t not make you feel disappointed.
Good location, good service and excellent facilities Foods are delicious Great view I love the pool and the gym room very much.
Overall a great hotel! The concept with the Bar, the working are, the gym and the SPA is very unique. Very young design. Only one grain of salt: The service in the dining area is not very well trained (also due to the corona reasons) and the supervision is not very visable. I would also suggest that you can order breakfast eggs etc. from the table instead having a full buffet.
I love coming to Prototype after workout for breakfast and spending time working outside of office. All difference to other places are people working here. Welcoming with smile, professional and carrying the same time. Loads of love and huge thank you! Gabriela
Jen Hotel Beijing is a recommendable place to stay. You’ve got a great location, in a modern state of the art hotel. Friendly and attending staff, who will walk the extra mile to make your request / wish come true. Rooms are spacious, at least the one I’ve had in a Jen Skyline, 1 King Bed (Room 1824). Modernly equipped with lots of USB charging places and power outlets, international TV channels, comfortable big bed, blackout curtains and a Japanese toilet seat. Just a bath tube is missing, which probably other rooms will have. Breakfast has a wide variety of food selections with local and specialties. There are also plenty of choices for none-Asian customers/eaters. Breakfast is well arranged and clean, however at rush hour times on weekends you may not more find that much of choices. As the staff is busy to refill, but too many guests are like ants…. An amazing Gym with state-of-the-art equipment, which is free to use for hotel guests. As the hotel share a public gym, you have all kinds of professional gym equipment’s, wide range of classes and an entire team of personal trainers available for your workout. The entire gym has two huge floors incl. a swimming pool. Downstairs on the 1st floor is a great Gastro Pub with great service, food and drinks. Enjoy self-brewed awesome beers and nice cocktails. There is daily live music after 9:30pm, which makes everyone dance and have a good time. If you like shopping or enjoy other restaurants. The hotel is connected to the Beijing World Mall, which mostly covers all your requests. There is no ATM in the Hotel or the shopping mall, but next-by you’ll find a bank.…
Front desk staff were good and and efficient. Restaurant staff are inflexible, unable to deal with anything not in their textbook. They act like robots. Do not attempt the buffet - very very overpriced considering you have a lot of choices in the mall in the same complex. The gym uses counterfeit equipments and the weights felt funny. Good size and view though.
The Jen, being a contemporary brand of its traditional and more old-fashioned parent, Shangri-la, targets a younger clientele with vibrant artwork and modern design. This particularly property, situated in the Guomao CBD of the Chinese capital, is very convenient due to its proximity (attached to) the massive China World mall, with a dizzying array of dining, retail and entertainment outlets. Its sister hotels, the Kerry, Shangri-la and the Summit Wing by Shangri-la, are housed in neighbouring skyscrapers. At the front of the hotel, there are plenty of Meituan bicycles for hire, which was very convenient for riding to the Sanlitun dining and entertainment district (approx 15 minutes), while the historic sights such as the Forbidden City (officially known as the Palace Museum) and Tiananmen Square, are about 10 minutes away by taxi. Opposite the hotel is the world-famous CCTV headquarters, with its very distinctive architecture. I chose this hotel not only for its location, but also for its extensive recreational facilities, named "The Battery", comprising an enormous gym (to which memberships are sold) and 25-metre indoor heated pool. The locker rooms are equipped with saunas, steam-room and whirlpools. These facilities give the hotel a resort-like feel, and contributed to my enjoyment and relaxation at the start and end of each busy day. Access is complimentary for hotel guests by swiping one's room keycard at electronic turnstiles adjacent to the entrance. Free and fast Wi-fi, excellent shower pressure, comfortable bed & cold and quiet air-conditioning - all the basics are done well. I was surprised and delighted by the quality and array of the extensive breakfast buffet, including many freshly-cooked local specialties, and a self-serve machine for freshly-squeezed fruit juice. Staff were generally polite and efficient, though this hotel is generally very busy in all areas due to its size and popularity. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Jen is not a traditional luxury hotel, yet it offers quality in every aspect. It is actually more expensive than its parent branded (and neighbour), the much older China World Hotel by Shangri-la (many of whom rooms have been renovated). I would be happy to return to this hotel on my next visit to Beijing.…
The service is very warm that what we need and they can provide. For example we get enough water from the services. It is a confortable experiences here. WANG MI is very nice to help us . Thank you all the peoples.
We have been using the Prototype workspace for the past year and found it a very pleasant experience. The Community Manager Echo and staff member James are always very willing to help with facility instructions and meeting room scheduling. They are also very creative with ideas to make the space more interactive-weekend family activities, member photography exhibition etc. Would highly recommend.
