Be prepared -- this is a hotel for Chinese people, not foreigners. That's fine and a more authentic experience but make sure a Chinese colleague accompanies you. I was on business and my Chinese host selected the hotel. Thank goodness they made sure I checked in ok and took me to my room because it appears that almost no one...

Although the rooms at this hotel are pretty adequate and the food not bad, this hotel is not a pleasant experience. Travellers to Chinese hotels will know that being moved out of your room to make way for someone more important is not a rare event but finding yourself locked out every evening and having to renegotiate yourself back in...

A more modern hotel that was again comfortable. The attention to detail refers to the mold around the bath/shower seals. This could easily be cleaned off. Another hot hotel but we were given extra water. Breakfast is more Chinese orientated than western which was surprisingly refreshing to me. Eating rice and veg for breakfast actually felt good. Wifi advertised as...

Well, what a place. Lovely large marbled entrance way and looking very luxurious. Indeed one could not fault the physical attributes of the hotel from reception to the rooms the quality of fittings and rooms was very good. Very large room with good bathroom and nice towels. A shame about service and the little bits.... First off, no WiFi at...

No staff speaking English was frustrating. Breakfast choices for Westerners was fairly basic but you get by. Wi-Fi was very 3rd world like, even in the lobby. Beds are very firm(really hard) but that is the norm in China hotels. Nicely located for short walks to two shopping centres and Maccas. About one hour from Airport and is reasonably close...

By first impressions you would think this hotel would be great. Unfortunitly it wasnt. The rooms though a good size are badly in need of refurbishment. The beds were sooooo hard even by China standards ( ask for extra duvets and sleep on those). The rooms are quite noisy but meet basic standards ie coffee/tea making shower etc. As we...

Overall rating is from a US-citizen's perspective. For China, perhaps it was very good to excellent. My only serious complaint was the air conditioning. Our room stayed humid although the temp wasn't too bad; others in our tour group said their rooms were warm and humid. I see that some other reviewers complained about the lack of English-speaking ability of...

Lack of English was an issue at this hotel, as so many things went wrong for me. The member of staff in charge of Business Centre couldn't speak any English, so trying to check in online for my flight home required assistance from 3 other staff members! On my second day, the lock to the door of my room broke,...

Stayed for 3 nights, asked for double bed got 2 singles, no wifi, no one speaks english well if at all. Showers had a leak, tap didn't work well on the shower. Came back on the second night to find the shower head completely broken, obviously by the cleaning staff. Didn't fix it for 24 hours the next day and...

I'm not one to complain about stained carpets (which there were in the room), hair left in the bath (on some days), no wifi (we were told that you have to buy a drink in the lobby to get free wifi), the lack of understanding of English by staff, or even the used wrapping from a snack left by housekeeping...
