I stayed here for two nights on a business trip in early August. The lobby is impressive, and the room was of a good size with standard ensuite facilities. Carpet in room was stained, but bedsheets etc all clean. Breakfast had the usual mix of European staples (cereals, breads, eggs, fruit) with more interesting Chinese offerings. Staff level of English...

We went to Beijing last March 8-14, 2016 courtesy of Royal Kites and Tours and they upgraded us to this hotel. It was the coldest temperature I've ever experienced in my whole life about - 2C. First winter adventure but no snow. Most probably, you go to Beijing around December or January to experience snow. They have centralized temperature inside...

Nice hotel with an excellent restaurant. We arrived at 11 pm at night and the restaurant was still opened. Had a most amazing meal with a beautiful presentation and service was excellent. Breakfast buffet was a bit crazy in the morning with people rushing to get their food before going on their tours. Room was nice and clean. Wifi was...

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The rooms are quite neat and clean. Even the staff is quite helpful inspite of the language barrier. The only thing which I didn't like about the hotel was that in buffet meals they don't label the names of dishes that are being served in English which makes it difficult to...

I was quite worried when I read the other reviews for this hotel before my trip to Beijing. My own experience was quite good. The rooms were clean, including the carpeting and the bathroom. The staff had sparse knowledge of English, but they were very courteous and helped out wherever possible. I stayed there for 3 nights and it was...

I was part of a 17 person tour- we left for a few nights & returned, so I experienced 2 different rooms. Both smelled of smoke, A/C was minimal, carpets were filthy. Moldy Bath mat & window shade- who puts a window in the bathtub? I actually wore my Croc's in the shower ( thank goodness for free slippers). The...

My family and I were staying here because we were in a tour group ( Unfortunately we did not know that the tour group was a scam. It basically wanted us to buy overpriced junk). The lobby of the hotel was okay (I've seen better), but the rooms were loud and quite dirty. There sorry excuse for a 3rd bed...

Room carpet was filthy to say the least. Shower blind was full of mildew as well as the bath mat. Towels were gray. Don't think; they ever soaked in bleach. A hole in the wall next to the bathtub fixtures. Could smell the sewer on many occasions. No wifi in the rooms only in the lobby. Few chairs and/or sofas...

Lovely hotel from outside appearances and in all the rooms and foyer. Loved the sound of children playing music on the baby grand piano in the foyer. Rooms neat and tidy. Down side - poor English speaking staff, need at least one person on the desk at all times with a fair grasp of English, I found it easiest to...

At first glance, the hotel seemed great. But, with further inspection, the hotel was filled with annoying flaws. The toilets in both of our rooms era difficult to actually flush. There was no wifi in the rooms; you'd have to go down to the lobby for wifi. The service is something that is difficult to put a rating to. The...
