Not only was the hotel fabulous due to the location, free mini bar, free WiFi, and the many restaurants inside the hotel, but the customer service was what really made the experience great for me. I would definitely come back if I ever find myself in Beijing again.

This hotel ticks all the boxes: comfort, service, visual appeal, etc. Shower and bath are very nice. Food at beakfast was good. Food at reaturant downstairs is also good. Location is a bit far from center but doable. Internet was a bit slow but I suspect that may be related to govt monitoring/filtering (I kep getting weird error messages that... More

The Opposite House is very stylish and customer friendly hotel. All staff were very helpful and gave very good restaurant recommendations (including hand drawn maps to help us find it). I find it a very pleasant surprise that the minibar was completely free - not that I actually used it but its a nice touch. I would stay there again... More

Finally had an opportunity to stay at this hotel. Checked in an got upgraded for no reason. Great way to start this business trip. Service is top notch. Free mini bar and wifi in the rooms is so gracious. Toiletries provided are really fantastic to go with a modern room. Already have a reservation for August. Neighborhood is very hip.... More

This must be the most surprising hotel i stayed in. Nothing is as you expect it, the reception desk is almost invisible as you come through the huge door. the art work in the lobby is superb, and you feel at peace from the very few minutes. The rooms are impressively minimal, great wooden floor, wooden bathroom, amazing atmosphere, and... More

We stayed just one night and loved it from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is such a refreshing change from the large hotels chains. The modern design, and art work in the foyer is very cool, but not at all pretentious. The room itself lived up to expectations, it was light and airy, and spotlessly clean. The slick... More

It's nice to find a boutique hotel that lives up to the promise of boutique hotels. Modern designs, attentive service, delicious food, tranquil rooms, and innovative technology marked my outstanding stay at The Opposite House. Services ordered through the iPad in my room worked without a hitch. The free hotel app gave great advice on sights, bars, and restaurants while... More

I stayed with my girlfriend for three wonderful nights in early May 2013. This hotel is very cool. The foyer / entrance is decorated with striking art and sculptures mixing contemporary and traditional materials and themes which are very beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I have to say, I was impressed by the very high standard... More

I stayed with my husband for 3 nights in this beautiful hotel. We were actually staying in a different hotel but when passing this hotel and walking in we immediately decided to move!
