Spacious and cozy-ambience room with fully equipped in-room amenities. Warm and thoughtful services from multilingual staffs who pay attention to tiny details. Variety of shops and restaurants in close proximity; subway station in walking distance.

This is an A-typical hotel for Beijing. Located in Sanlitun, a very hip, foreigner friendly area, it is an art hotel. Contemporary art installations are rotated regularly and art events are hosted frequently. The hotel's capacity is smaller than other big named hotels in the area, giving guests a more personalized experience. And the dim sum restaurant in the basement...

I cannot recall why I chose to stay at the Opposite House while in Beijing. The name was certainly intriguing and the reviews I read described it as being modern and hinted at its interesting provenance. But nothing had prepared me for the reality of the Opposite House. The graciousness and allure of this magnificent hotel became apparent upon arrival,...

Several friends of mine who had previously come to Beijing have raved about this place, so when it came time for me to come to the city for a work project spanning several weeks, I knew which address I had to be in for my time here. Firstly I need to write about the tip top service here - this...

The Opposite House is another Swire property, only with that Japanese twist. I arrived tired and after many hours delay. My team had already spoken to their super efficient concierge desk to organise airport transfers, the team are very responsive prior to arrival. Paul Stanton, who actually comes from Upper House HK, was there with a smile and a hug....

SERVICE is the secret word, the best hotels in the world have the best service, not the best out look or bed ,nor spa or gardens... it is SERVICE what I am talking about. This place has it all in one! A pleasure to stay there, the location can't be better and the opportunity of feeling like a king in...

I've stayed at the Opposite House twice now – and each time has been an absolute pleasure. The style is sexy-chic, all brushed wooden floors, high ceilings and lots of art: in the lobby there is a rotating art exhibition. The staff are welcoming (guest experience can organise anything you need) and the F&B outlets, particularly Mesh Bar, are exceptional....

I spent a fabulous three days at the Opposite House. From the warm and efficient welcome, to the room amenities - everything was top class. The hotel is situated in the affluent Sanlitun district, with very high class shopping on the doorstep. The rooms are out of this world. They are stunningly designed, absolutely enormous and with every luxury you...

The Opposite House is a hotel worth visiting even if not staying there for it is unlike any other in Beijing. When I first discovered the building shortly after it opened in 2008 - one week before the Beijing Olympics - I thought it was an art gallery. The shimmering exterior cubic style with shades of square green glass paneling...

The facade of the hotel not promising, and you will be not challenged to knock on door to check what is going on inside. Once you find the main entrance, you will understand that is not just "the cube" of glass. Amazing lobby, like a scene for some fashion show, the bar crowd of people. I've been wowed. Than I...
