Can't rate this hotel highly enough, the staff were fantastic the rooms were first rate and the hotel itself is just fascinating. The food and breakfast is very good and luckily has some western style items if you're a bit tired of the abundance of seemingly exotic foods the local people seem to love. The surrounding Hutong makes the experience...

This lovely place is located in cccentral area of Nan Luo Guo, designed in Chinese style. Sadly we didn't stay here but we did visit here for a delicious lunch. Menu varied and portions large. staff were polite and helpful. The restroom facilities were clean and western style unlike most. It would be difficult to find without a guide and...

Charming, boutique hotel experience. Yes..there are seven courtyards one at every turn. Felt right at home on our first trip to China. Room was warm and cozy especially on a 31degree F evening. On property restaurant with outstanding asian and european breakfast. Close to a busy pedestrian street. We even found mittens, hats and scarves just what these travelers from...

I can really recommended this place. The property, room & hutong location all have a lot of traditional character. The breakfast (included in the room price) was the best we had in China. Room was clean & bathroom modern. It’s located in a quiet spot, yet just a few steps away from a vibrant pedestrian street. The only real negative...

There is nothing bad I have to say about Courtyard 7. My husband and I have just returned from our first trip to China and had two weeks booked there. Most guests seemed to be staying for shorter periods, no doubt as they had multi-trips booked, however we wanted to make the most of Beijing and base ourselves there and...

A terrific hotel in the heart of a fabulous historic section of Beijing. Feels like you've gone back in time, and the old courtyards in the hotel are a quiet respite from busy Beijing. The hotel amenities are very comfortable, though not luxurious, the hotel staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fine. Best part is that it is...

My first trip to China and I booked this hotel in the old district to get a different experience. I was dropped off at the main street and had to pull my suitcase through a couple of blocks of very small alley's to find the hotel as cars are not allowed to drive these small streets. I did not know...

I chose this hotel based on the reviews here. I had never traveled to China and had my own trepidation about traveling there alone. This hotel, converted from a traditional hutong courtyard complex, ended up being the perfect place for me. I had the hotel arrange for a car to pick me up at the airport, which worked out quite...

Great location just off a main street full of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is wonderfully maintained and very traditional, but with modern comforts (comfortable bed, clean modern washroom and air conditioning, tv). It is an authentic courtyard residence and is a great experience to stay in. Highly recommend.
