This hotel caters to Chinese travelers. It offers adequate rooms with outdated but functional bathrooms that look quite dated and simple rooms. The highlight of the hotel is its daily breakfast buffet, which features noodles, rice, breads, vegetables, and other local dishes. The hotel is directly across the street from the UIBE Western entrance. But it is a bit of...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for several weeks in the summer of 2015 (we were giving lectures at universities and taking part in a conference in Bejing). Our stay was covered by the university, and I'm not sure how much they paid per night, but I hope it was not too much. The buffet breakfast is the...

a two-star hotel. shabby rooms. I give three stars because of the low price and friendly staff -- they are courteous. breakfast is pretty good, not fancy but I like it better than that of Grand Hyatt Beijing.

Don't expect anything fancy. This hotel is like a state-owned hotel back in its 80s. The room is very clean and tidy. The shower is hot and nice. My room rate includes breakfast. I stayed there for over two weeks for work. The breakfast was almost the same every day. That's fine. There are many decent restaurants nearby and within...

I have stayed at this hotel several times and would do so again. It's fairly clean and in a pretty good location. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the subway and very close to several bus stops. There are shops and restaurants all around, as well as a few nice places to walk. The free breakfast has a nice...

Having spent the better part of three weeks at this hotel I feel duty bound to review it. My seminar organizers told my fellow participants and I that they would have put us up in a better hotel but Yonghua was the closest to the University of International Business and Economics, where the seminar was being held. That notwithstanding, I...

Pro's: The rooms are clean and quite large. Not far from the metro (10 min walk with a direct line to the center). Breakfast is not too bad and there are many stores around (to eat or dinner). Cons: The staff does not speak English at all even if they seem to tell you otherwise and they are very suspicious...

The 3 star hotel offers a simple decor and clean linens. The room rug can use a deep shampoo or new one, so do stretch exercises on the bed. Internet access is available in rooms, but you pay for it. Otherwise, it's affordable for travelers on a tight budget and long journey. Walking distance to the metro (10 min) and...

“Ask for the bigger rooms, the ones with a small alcove at the window, but if on the third floor not on the side of the 7 eleven. You'll open the window to the wall just below t he roof of that building.”
