I stayed here for 2 nights for business. It is about a 4 star hotel, by Western standards. The rooms are comfortable, but the beds are very firm. I like firm, but even by my standards it was very hard. Good amount of space in room, clean, but needs new carpets. Breakfast is usual hotel fare, western and Asian cuisine.... More

This hotel was booked for me whilst on business. Location was convenient but to be honest there were much nicer hotels also very close by. Rooms tired and had a dirty feel to them, looked like they needed a good deep clean. Bed was the hardest that I have every slept in, not comfortable at all. Overall recommendation - try... More

The lobby is large and airy, there is ample food and variety for breakfast and rooms are both modern and clean, but the beds are the hardest I have ever encountered, the room temperature was difficult to regulate and there is very little storage space in the room apart from a somewhat limited hanging area. The location is convenient for... More

I had an urgent meeting in Beijing in my embassy and chose this hotel as it was barely 500 metres away. Its in the district of all embassies and I didn't want to waste time searching or in traffic. I reached late at night and my initial experience was stressful as the reception said they couldnt find the booking at... More

I have stayed at this a hotel a few times and my experience is quite mixed. The staff is usually very friendly even though the last time I was accused of stealing cups from the room. The breakfast is okay, but not more. As often in China the food that is supposed to be eaten warm is simply already cold... More

Star ratings can be hit and miss in China, this place is rated 4 star but not as you know it in the real world. yes its half the price of most 5 star hotels and about 10x less in quality as well. If you are a westerner on a budget then there are a number of better choices in... More

Stayed three nights on business. Check in was relatively easy, large room, booked a suite, most everything worked fine. Breakfast kind of left me cold. I know many people probably not great fans of Chinese style breakfast, but I have stayed in many Chinese hotels and even their Chinese food just wasnt very exciting. Every morning I would wander around... More

No wifi, except a variable service in the dining room. No business centre, despite the promise of one. No AC except a window. In noisy smog city, are you sure? Yet there's a controller on the wall. When I asked about it I learned that AC is centrally controlled in the basement. Bed is the hardest slab I've ever encountered... More

I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was among my least favorite. Rooms were musty and need to be aired out. Beds are very hard (ok if you prefer this). Furniture and carpets are VERY worn. Mirror on the wall was shattered in the first room they assigned me to. The telephone also did not work.... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for a business trip. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Not all can speak English well however there were no problems getting one who could. Room size was adequate with excellent room amenities. Free LAN internet was available. Internet speed not that great thus making video calls not so smooth but... More

“Ask for one of the newly-renovated rooms, which they might try to give you anyway if you're a foreigner. When I arrived, the front desk told me there were no non-smoking rooms available, and said I could change later in my stay when a non-smoking room became available. But the room they put me in ended up to be fine. I'm allergic to the smell of cigarette smoke, but I didn't detect any in my room and opted not to move.”
