Our final camp of our safari was Porini Mara, after experiencing Porini Amboseli and Porini Rhino. Mara did not disappoint! I believe the true test of service is when there is an issue to be dealt with. Our issue was entirely our fault, but Chloe...More

We came end of June. Early morning (6.15) game drives are cold! You need a jacket. We had no flies. Natural colours are best - long sleeved cotton shirts are good. Nobody wears fancy clothes. You only need sleeveless tops for the short time between lunch and afternoon game drive when it should be warm. Re shoes - we wore trainers/sneakers most of the time. Have a great time. We loved it.
