We spent 3 nights st Porini Mara Camp having just come from Porini Rhino Camp. The setting was lovely so peaceful. Josephat and Tipa were our guides and we saw so much given that this was our fourth visit to the Mara. We saw cheetah mothers with their cubs, caracal cat and lots of elephants, we were so lucky. The...

The Porini camps rank with the best safari experiences we’ve had after having been on safari in many African countries. You combine a great experience with the knowledge that you’re supporting the conservancy concept, which increases the area of wildlife reserves and benefits the local Maasai so they have an incentive to protect the wildlife. You also get an experience...

After two days at Porini Amboseli we weren't sure our Kenya experience could get any better, but we had a phenomenal four nights at Porini Mara. From the pick up and game drive from Jackson, to the warm, friendly welcome from Jimmy, we felt at home immediately! Our game drives with Jeffrey and Bill were amazing. We saw so many...

My second time staying at this camp and as before it was a great experience. It was fantastic seeing some familiar faces at the camp, Jimmy, Jackson and Edward to name but a few. Even more impressively they remembered me and the things we saw on my first visit a year ago. The camp looked and felt the same and...

This was our first time at Porini camps. We have enjoyed the stay thoroughly and since we were on our honeymoon they made special arrangements by organising a bottle of champagne and also baked a cake for us and to top it all they sang a Masai song and celebrated our special occassion with us. We met some great people...

This camp, like other Porini camps, is located in a private conservancy so camp residents are the only visitors in a large area. Increasingly Ol Kinyei conservancy is attracting wildlife from the adjacent Masai Mara Park so after three days there we thought it was not necessary for us to go into the Mara itself and compete with many other...

I spent three nights at Porini Mara Camp, exploring Ol'Kinyei. The camp is in a wonderful location and well maintained. Jimmy and the rest of the staff were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and accommodating - the night drive was a huge highlight, including seeing cheetah at night! Beautiful and very comfortable tents, the hot water bottle is a great touch!...

We spend four nights in the Mara thereoff two nights in the Porrini Mara Camp. We were lost for words of the beauty of the location and the surroundings. The camp has 6 tents only, so its very private and special. Everything is super clean and all operated by Massai people. They all were the most welcoming friendly guys. The...

This was my second safari with Gamewatchers Safari and once again it was a wonderful experience. Altogether I stayed in four Porini camps in the course of a week, the tents were of an equally high standard with everything needed for a comfortable stay (the hot water bottle was much appreciated on the couple of cold nights!) My favourite camp...
