I stayed at Rekero as a part of a group on a photographic safari hosted by Jonathan Scott and Jackson Looseiya. The stay was for 7 nights 8 days and I stayed in tent no.7. I have been to the mara before and had stayed in two camps located in the conservancies to the north of the main reserve. The...

We were met at the airstrip by Onesmus Irungu who would be our guide for the next few days. As we drove the short distance to the camp, it soon became clear that this is an exceptional guide with deep knowledge and a passion for the land. As we pulled into the camp, we were met by camp manager Mariana...

The most important thing for me, on a safari, is the quality of guiding. Both Onesmus and Sam proved to be excellent guides during my week long stay as part of a photo safari. They were very keen, knowlegeable, knew how to position the vehicle for the best photos, able to track down amazing experiences on every game drive, and...

I cannot say enough good things about the Rekero camp. The location is perfect for game viewing and the accommodations are great. Don't be concerned about the bucket showers, because the water is hot and brought to you upon request. The food is delicious and plentiful. I'm not normally a fan of group dining, but we met such interesting people...

We spent two nights at Rekero Camp, it was my first night sleeping in a tent in Africa. The tent was very comfortable and safe-- even though we had a midnight muncher (elephant!) visit right outside our tent. We knew we were safe with our Maasi Warriors patrolling the camp grounds! The food was amazing and our guide, Martin, was...

Drivers are really knowledgable. Good trucks, with open tops for viewing and large side windows. Food is unexpecatly good. And, they adjust to your dietary needs. Location is beautiful on the river, all tents have river views. And, you may see small crossings at the main tent. Great place for viewing. Animals roam onto the grounds, at night. We stayed...

My first experience sleeping in a tent - definitely will do again :). Rekero allows you to be "in the wild" while feeling safe and completely cared for. Camp staff and guides were exceptional. Food was very good; hospitality was exceptional. Loved this completely unique experience!

Our family spent 3 days in Rekero camp. Everyday was an exciting adventure! This is real safari living. Our beautifully appointed tents faced the river which was full of wildlife both day and night! We saw the wildebeest and zebra crossing the river. What an incredible sight! Our hosts Peter, Stacey and Clea were attentive and wonderful. A highlight of...

Spent 4 days at Rekero camp. What an amazing place. Camp is right on the river with many animals visiting the river during the day. The tents were great with flush toilets and dual sinks with running water. The camp staff was fantastic. The chef prepared some amazing five star meals and the guides were excellent. The Masai warriors were...

5 day stay for migration. Even though it was the busiest time they still found time for you as individuals. Great guide Ben, helped us see every thing we wanted. Allthe staff were so nice, as are 99.9% of Kenyans. So by mentioning Marianna And Stacey I hope the others don't feel left out. I wasn't feeling to good on...
