We stayed here for 2 nights on our tour and I wish it was more. Very natural, extremely lovely accommodating and helpful team. The one eared hippo outside your tent in the morning is beautiful and the crocs are huge. The sounds at night are my 'sound of Africa ', hippos and lions outstanding. All phone charging is done in...

This location is fantastic- situated above a river filled with hippos. You are also very near the great areas to see lions and elephants. It is rustic yet very comfortable. The rooms are basic, but have a toilet and shower. Everything is eco-friendly. The staff is kind and helpful. The cook is fabulous- even making breads and desserts homemade. We...

I really enjoyed staying in this camp. The food was nice and tents very good. The reason for staying here was of course to do the safari and unfortunately the local guides and vehicles weren't up to scratch. This trip was part of an organised tour!

Dear Dave, thank you for your review, your input helps us better our standards. I am sorry your experience with the guides was not great, would you be kind enough to inform us who the tour was organised through so that we can communicate with them and ensure this does not happen again?

Fabulous secluded location next to the mara river. "Camp" - king sized bed and en-suite, definitely luxury camp. The staff can do enough for you. And food is just delicious. Can't recommend highly enough.

This site is absolutely incredible! Being housed in a tent right beside a river full of crocodiles and hippos, at first was a little intimidating, but turned out to be one of the most awesome experiences of our journey. the camp staff are incredibly outgoing, trying at every turn to make our stay more enjoyable. I was motioned, by one...

Really enjoyed staying in the Mara, we saw so much. Was disappointed however that the guides didntt take us to where the wildebeest were crossing, especially as we had booked the migration trip. We did see thousands but would have been better to have seen some crossing. The accommodation cannot be falted and the meals were good. Would certainly stay...

“Take a good torch and spare batteries. A wind up torch would also be a good idea for emergencies.”

“a couple of overall tips if you are looking at taking a safari in Africa is take more than 1 power transformer One of the biggest concerns we had was getting power to recharge our camera batteries. take a GOOD set of binoculares we had 1 really good set and 1 good set, wish we had take 2 really good sets, it is amazing how much more detail is seen on the various game animals, even though we were close, with the use of a really good set of binoculars. a decent range finder , used by bow hunters, would have been really useful to determine just how close or far we were from various game sitings, as people dont really believe how close you get take lots of goodies for the people We took colouring books and crayons for the children, flashlights, hats, and eye glasses for the adults. Left a bunch of the books at an orphanage, gave the rest out to the staff at various camps we stayed at for their families. This was appreciated actually more than cash.”
