This is a tented camp outside the Masai Mara national reserve. We booked this one as it came up the cheapest option for us. It is outside the park so entrance fees are $10 more per person per day but it still came out to be cheaper. The service was excellent and so was the food. The chef took into... More

We had requested mid-range accommodation which I think accurately reflects Ol Moran. It is a small resort with basic and a little bit dated but comfortable tents which have en suite bathrooms. We stayed for two night, the bed was comfortable, the tent had an en suite bathroom, and there was electricity to charge things. We had been camping in... More

This was the last of several places we stayed on safari. The tents are fine, the hot water is hot but has a strong smell of rust. The electricity was generator and on early in the morning and evening. The food was very limited but adequate. The main issues we had were the noise and the focus on the locals... More

Spent three day at the Olmoran tent camping while on safari. . It was amazing! The services was over the top when we first got there after a dust ride we were met with warm wash clothes to clean our hands and face and the some refreshing juice to revive us after our long day of travel. Our tent was... More

Good setting, close to the gate, comfortable tents, plenty of adequate food. It was about 10 minutes from the gate so easy access. Also it was very peaceful. Once inside the park at lunch the pack lunches for the all day game drive were very filling and nice.

Spent two nights at Ol-Moran on 3 & 4 May 2013 in a standard tent that had a double bed, single bed, private bathroom, tables, power plug and towels. The price was included in the cost of a safari we booked in Nairobi. Plentiful meals provided at breakfast and dinner with a big packed lunch supplied for our full-day game... More

I’m not a fan of camping and when my family announced on the bus that we were staying in tented accommodation my face must have been a picture! However, my fears abated when I realised this is more Glamping, tents with real beds and a plumbed in bathroom. Oh, one thing I would say is pack something to sleep in... More

After teaching in rural Kenya for two months, my colleagues and I decided to end our trip with Safari. We used PrimeTime safaris who set us up with Ol-Moran Tented Camps. It was a beautiful area with amazing amenities. Meals were included and the dining area was superb. We couldn't have asked for better staff and accommodations. I would highly... More

Having recently returned from a 4 night stay at Ol Moran on 7th January we need to share our views and also respond to a scathing review from a previous visitor. Before our visit, we actually took the time to check the Ol Moran website ( lets assume internet is available in Europe) to be clear on the accommodation and... More

A party of 13 of us visited Ol-moran over New Years Eve and couldn't wait for the whole experience to be over. As a party we have been on safari and stayed in numerous other camps and lodges around the area and Ol-moran was the worst camp we have ever been too. This was our first visit to Ol-moran and...
