LOVED staying here. The rooms are neat and clean and the beds are comfy. The chef was very accommodating and the food was superb. The staff were really exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was very friendly and always happy to chat to me. The property is very safe and is walking distance to the UN and Village...

Please note that this review is of the STUDIO room. The studio rooms ($80 dollar/night rooms) were a bit old and in another building separate from the main building and garden views. The bathroom was extremely small and the hot water a bit dodgy. The windows had no screens so if you stay in the summer you will trapped in...

The guesthouse is well located for UN visitors as it's within walkable distance (20min) in a safe neighbourhood. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Breakfast was decent. The room I had was clean but small and very basic. All in all a good option for long term stays (there is also a small kitchen) if you wish to avoid...

A few years back i stayed at this accommodation. This time I returned as i have been seriously disappointed with other accommodation in the same neighborhood. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! some unscrupulous competitors are taking advantage of the fact that the Gigiri Homestead has moved to claim that it had closed down. WELL far from it, it simply move further down...

This is your perfect choice to stay for the UN or other offices in Gigiri. It is a small place so no risk of terrorism, and well guarded, hidden, so I suppose it is the safest place in Nairobi you can get. You can walk to the UN, but taking a taxi is also not expensive; and any further you...

The personnal is very professional, friendly and helpful. They do the best for you. I had a room with a private terrasse with view on the garden. The area is very...

Starting from the booking, all went very smooth with this guest house. The hotel arranged an airport pick up at reasonable price. Staff met me and my colleague very friendly. Although, the first impression of the room upon arrival was a bit different from what was expected out of the photos, a further stay turned out quite positive. The rooms...

Gigiri Homestead is an excellent guest house in a good location - especially if you want to be close to the UN, embassies and Village Market. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast and evening meals are good and the rooms are comfortable. The wifi is also stable and reliable, which is a bonus! Overall highly recommended

From the day we arrived, Gigiri Homestead staff proved to be highly capable hosts during our enjoyable stay in Kenya! They provided their well-kept rooms at a reasonable cost, and were able to help us coordinate our regular contacts with our local transport services. I found the firm mattresses and mosquito netting quite a lovely final destination after a long...

A quiet secure part of the city with a wonderful staff. Walking distance from a mall (Village Market), where you can get everything that you need + ATM-machines. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in a small -cosy- dining room beside the kitchen, large portions. I was in one of the rooms one stairway up, a room with a balcony,...
