When the shuttle from Arusha dropped me at a stop 4 km away, they sent a taxi to pick me up. I had no Kenyan currency with me and they accepted Tanzanian shillings. The property is close to the highway to the airport so it might be a bit noisy during the day; however, I had a good night of...

I don't recommend here. Some shower and toilet doesn't work, no hot, no water. it's very useless. There are no mosquiet net in the dormitory. And women staff are not friendly. When I arrived here, I asked the price for dormitory. The long hair women staff at reception said it cost 1,500Ksh per night. but I know already the price...

Stayed in a 4 person room upstairs. Me and my roommate caught bed bugs from this place. Dealing with the consequences at home now. Had extra bathrooms outside the room which were nice, but the one in the room either had scalding hot or freezing water, no inbetween.

The Nairobi Airport Stop Over House doesn't claim to be a five star hotel, but it's exactly what it claims to be: close to the airport, clean and well managed. It's basic, but is a great deal for the affordable rate ($20USD for private room with shared bathroom.) I had a fantastic stay, felt safe and was well taken care...

We stayed here before and after the safari, which are organized. Mrs. Zipporah took care for everything. We feel safe, the rooms were clean, breakfast sufficient, ....perfect for that price. I have to commend the very friendly staff. There are poor only the showers. The water was cold and just drop.

This place is perfect for an overnight stay. The rooms are basic but it is close to the airport, reasonably priced and the people are very reliable. We arrived into Nairobi in the evening and were picked up and transferred straight to the accommodation, no problems. Zipporah, the reservation manager was in constant communication with us leading up to our...

I stayed a day there. Situated somewhat close to the Jomo Kenyatta Airport & a safe place. A mall (Nairobi Java House Capital Center) with a forex bureau, Restaurants are there within walking distance. Although not luxury & quite expensive, it’s a suitable place if you want to avoid terrible traffic in Nairobi to go to JKH on time.

We stayed here on two occasions, once before a safari and then before our flight out of Kenya. As a budget traveller this was the perfect option for us to be close to the airport without having to pay a fortune for an average airport hotel. The rooms are large and spacious with mosquito nets over the beds, which you...

I stayed at this hostel in February of 2015. It is located inside a gated community and I felt very safe at all times. The free breakfast is excellent and the staff goes well out of there way to make sure that you are comfortable and taken care of. It is within walking distance of the city center and very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a mid range Bed and breakfast guest house located very near the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta airport and Wilson airport. We are less than 10minutes from any of the airport. Our guest house guarantees personal attention for it is small with a capacity of 20 guests per night. Our 5 bedrooms are either in single, double, triple and we have a family room with 1 big bed and 2 small beds. Some rooms are with private bathrooms and others in shared bathrooms. Cleanliness, security, serenity and affordability have made our guests come back again and again. With the ideal location, visitors arriving or departing late in the night or early morning have always found our place very ideal. It is also a great location for guests on transit to Tanzania since the shuttle buses to Tanzania pick guests from our house on the way without having to go to the city center to board. We have business connections with shuttle buses like Davanu shuttle, Marangu shuttles Jamii shuttle, Riverside shuttle, Impala shuttle, Destination and rainbow among others. For those on long hours of waiting to connect a flight, we offer great deals on day room either as a package with pick up and drop off the airport and lunch or just on accommodation only. We are a great place to meet other young travelers and the "young at heart", backpackers and mid range travelers. ... more   less
