The essentials were top-of-the-line: very helpful staff, good beds, good breakfast with the best fruit juices we had during our two weeks, good wifi, warm shower, quiet except for the cikadas, clean. A little worn but charming. Maybe you would miss some small things like bedlamps - but if you ask for it, my guess is that it will be...

My daughter has had 3 extended stays in Nairobi over the last 3 years, most recently spending a month there over January and February this year, and has stayed at Hibiscus for every night she has been in Nairobi. My husband spent 3 days in Nairobi during my daughter’s recent stay, and he also stayed at the Hibiscus. So, although...

I was treated very well at Hibiscus Guesthouse. Even before I arrived, all of my questions were promptly responded to via email and when I arrived I was warmly welcome by staff. Hibiscus is really Nairobi's hidden gem. It is clean and spacious. The internet works very well inside and outside the house and the staff is extremely friendly and...

Hibiscus is our go-to guest house in Nairobi. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is plentiful, with fresh fruit juice made on request. The rooms are clean and basic (unfortunately some mosquitos so the bednets are necessary). Laundry service is available for a fee, and the free wifi is reliable.

I needed in night in Nairobi after arriving late at the airport. Hibiscus arranged the transfer without a hitch. Clearly priced and good driver and vehicle. This was my first stay here. The room was clean but very dated. Bathroom clean but basic and also dated. Wifi didn't reach the room but staff very accommodating and friendly. Bed was comfy....

I don't remember a lot about this place but I do remember that it was clean and quiet. We were arriving late and arranged for them to pick us up at the airport which was timely. The rest house was a bit far for walking to any of the attractions in Nairobi. The walk was not pleasant along busy roads...

My stay at Hibiscus Guest House was very pleasant. The staff is pleasant and friendly. What can be improved is the wifi; for one it is fairly slow and for two it does not work well in the room that I was in (to far from the wife). It may be worth considering investing in a better wifi.

Located in a safe neighbourhood, not too far from the city center and tourist attractions. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable and they are reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and protective, after dark they even walk you to the restaurant on the other side of the street. We came back here there times during our trip...

We stayed 2 nights in Hibiscus Guest House with our one-year-old son. The room and ensuite bathroom were no great luxury, but they were spacious and the garden is a nice place to relax. The service was very friendly, one of the staff accompanied us all the way to the nearest mall. They also helped us in booking a daytrip...
