We needed a place to stay in Nairobi for one night between safaris and this place fit the bill. We chose the Boulevard mostly due to its proximity to the Nairobi National Museum. It's just a five minute walk around the corner to the museum....More

The Hotel doesn't seem to have been renovated, not even retouched here and there. A river stream that flows by gives a romantic impression, only to be surprised by the stinky smell it develops on and off. The Hotel is good for those who are...More
In July 2017 stayed 4 nights (winter time in Nairobi). Big windows and comfortable breezes made the room comfortable without AC during the day. Mosquitoes were a problem at night because there were no screens on the windows and there is no mosquito netting for...More

Sentrim Boulevard Hotel is a typical Nairobi city hotel. It could need a refurbishment but is ok if you just need a place to sleep before travelling on. The best part is the restaurant which serves good food. The hotel is next to a smelly...More

Hello,
Jomo Kenyatta Airport is just 20/30 min from this hotel depending on the time you leave. If your aircraft takes off at 08:00 AM, you probably have to leave the hotel at 06:00 and there is no traffic at that time... It will take less that 20 min to reach the airport.
I advise you not to consider taxi in the street. Do not forget there is a very big issue with security in Kenya and mainly in Nairobi where the situation is worst than in Johannesburgh... Ask the hotel to call an official taxi for you or a "limousine" even if it is 10/15 USD more... Maybe it is the price to pay to avoid very big troubles which could prevent you to catch your flight definitely.
Have a nice trip in Kenya. It is a wonderful country ! Even if the situation in Nairobi is complicated, people are very kind outside the city.
Cheers,
AG
