Stayed at this property for two nights, following a six day safari, along with "Safari" Kay from Destined to Travel. This hotel is beautiful. Very modern with great furnishings and art through out the hotel. Every floor had something different. Pool area is nice. Breakfast is buffet style, with a chef making fresh omelettes, etc. Turn down service includes truffles... More

I never stayed at the hotel, had only one visit yesterday, because of AmCham function held there. Much to my surprise, waters did not issue receipts for the drinks they served, and apparently have never done it before. Everyone directed me to "the manager". Eventually, after making a bit of noise, I got my receipt, and when I told the... More

Traveled to Nairobi for business and had the Tribe Hotel selected for me. I was not disappointed. The staff was very welcoming, even after a six hours flight from Istanbul in the middle of the night. Check-in was a breeze (which was important to me at 0500) and my room was well prepared. I initially had an issue with the... More

I stayed here for two weeks on business and found it very relaxing. It's located in a nice area with the village market right next door offering a variety of shops and restaurants. The food in the hotel was more than acceptable and breakfast was fabulous. The room was tastefully decorated and relatively quiet although having a room that looks... More

The hotel was beautiful, elegant, with attentive staff. Our group was spending our last 2 days in Nairobi, following a wonderful safari experience. We loved having the shopping center across the street - so very convenient for those who wanted to "shop til you drop". However, if you are sharing a room with a friend, you will need to leave... Every part of my experience at Tribe was a treat - the decor, comfort, service, food, spa, chocolate (oh, the chocolate!). The staff were very accommodating of special touches, such as accommodating a vegan diet or even following a recipe for a hot toddy to treat my icky cold. They were always at the ready to ensure a pleasant stay.... More
