We spent here one night. We arrived late, around 10.30 p.m. and were immediately checked-in and showed to our room. Hotel lobby is vey nice, African minimalist style. Room very nice also, spacious, comfy bed, nice walk-in shower. We wanted to have a drink and so went to the lobby, where there were plenty of nice armchairs and also a...

It was a real departure from the usual chain hotels in many places to enter into the exuberant atmosphere of the Tribe Hotel. Tribe had responded punctually to my request for an airport pickup that worked - already a good sign. The Tribe Hotel is an outstanding statement of contemporary Africa accomplished through its architecture and the variety of material...

The hotel is clean with quite good service, not intrusive and rather efficient. The food is nice and it sells delicious chocolate. Shuttle service to UNON is also quite handy, and its proximity to the village market convenient.

I have stayed at the Tribe 4 times (a week each time) when I was working in Gigiri. I loved staying at the hotel, the rooms are great, food is great and the service is top notch. I will return any time I am back to Nairobi. I particularly love the breakfast buffet, a great variety of items and the...

I have stayed in this hotel four times over a period of some eighteen months, on each occasion for between three and six nights. I have also conducted business/conference sessions. Very nice rooms and meeting facilities/business centre/IT support, as well as restaurant, poolside area, good quality and variety of food. Lovely, helpful staff appear to lack support/obvious presence of senior...

From the moment you arrive at the Tribe you feel that everyone wants to help you to relax and enjoy your stay. Each meal was delicious: I tried the ready-to-order omelette for breakfast, a carry out lunch, and the grilled lamb... each surpassed my expectations. The room was beautifully decorated with an oversized bed, desk and everything you would expect...

We travelled for the first time to Nairobi in a large group (25) for a family wedding. All of us stayed at this lovely hotel. The first group of 16 of us checked in around 6-7am. We were permitted to have an early check in and late check out for all of our group who were arriving and departing on...

Very conveniently located hotel near an ex-pat shopping mall. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Fantastic buffet breakfast. The first room they showed me was really nice with a view of the pool but it was too noisy so I moved to another room which overlooked the parking lot. Still, it was a nice room, if somewhat small. I...

My husband and I stayed in Tribe for a week in 2011. Loved the hotel then, and decided to stay there again this trip. The hotel is still as beautiful. Room, food, service were impeccable. I travel a lot and stay in many hotels on a regular basis. Except during holidays, I rarely bothered with the breakfast beyond a quick...
