Considering we were expecting a lesser type of accommodation, we were pleasantly surprised. Only problem I was looking forward to making a cuppa tea but to no avail. No tea making facilities and a fridge that didn't work. So not able to cool down our water and have a cold drink. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. A... More

The camp is ideal for campers in the City and close to Galeria Shopping Mall. However you have to book beforehand place is mostly full..Could not get a garden tent but the staff are friendly and managed to setup a camping tent for us within no time.. They have a nice buffet for breakfast and dinner.

Wildebeest was great value accommodation in comparison to other options in Nairobi. The wifi was great and reached most areas. The bathrooms were clean and the restaurant was nice enough to make us a packed breakfast for our trek over the Tanzanian border the next day. However its quite possible that I got bedbugs from this hostel which is no... More

Lovely accommodation in a quiet location in Nairobi, close to David Sheldrick and Giraffe Manor. We stayed in a garden tent, which was surprisingly comfortable and homely. Bathrooms are shared but always clean and showers were hot! Rare occurrence throughout the rest of our trip. The compound itself is really pretty and the pool is a big bonus. Most importantly... We camped here for 2 nights as a group with our own tents, the area to camp was very nice & the camp itself has very nice grounds. The grounds were very secure & clean. Lovely location. Great tented accommodation. Shared bathroom a long way from our rooms for the cheaper tents Allow plenty of time for breakfast service. Would happily stay here again. We were collected from here to start our 8 day safari with no problem.

Hi Helen. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and thought our camp was a lovely location and offers great accommodation. The tents that you stayed in with shared facilities are our budget tented option located around 30-40metres from the bathrooms. For your next stay, we would recommend one of our rooms/tents with ensuite... More

5 of us stayed here a week and a half ago and were very pleasantly surprised. The 'room' (a big tent) was very clean and the shared bathroom clean with lots of hot water. The staff were very helpful, even if breakfast on the Sunday morning took a LONG time to arrive!

I have always enjoyed our stay at Wildebeest and since they have put the swimming pool in and the fire circle (or semi circle) it is like the icing on the cake. Just a few miles from Nairobi the capital of Kenya, this camp comprises various tents plus chalets spread over a landscaped site.
