staying on the West Bank of Luxor was a great choice. Much less noise than on the West part. We stayed at Gezira Garden (the one with swimming) pool for 2 nights for a reasonable price (38 euros), including breakfast. Rooms are quite small and although relatively clean, are a bit simple.but you cannot expect more for this price in...

The small El Gezira hotel must be the best budget stay in Luxor! Few rooms, relaxed, comfortable hotel with the most professional, friendly and efficient staff cannot be faulted. Nothing is too much hassle for them. The rooms are light, clean and very comfortable and have pleasant little extras like bedside lamps, balcony's with chairs and coat hangers in the...

Behind the quite wall lined lane leading from the Nile lies a small, cosy hotel in a hidden garden. We stayed at the Gezira Garden hotel on Luxor's west bank for several weeks this autumn. Dont expect streamlined luxury, instead enjoy caring and personalized service in a secure atmosphere filled with the sense of intimacy. Comfortable rooms and suites at...

There are TWO HOTELS WITH THE NAME GEZIRA on the West Bank of Luxor. Although the owners may be related, the GOOD ONE IS THE ONE WITH GARDENS IN THE NAME. It is NOT the one that is offered on Booking.com the review I can give is of the Gazira Gardens Hotel which has a pool. The bad reviews you...

The Gezira Garden is a lovely boutique hotel on Luxor's West Bank. It feels like an oasis -- lots of greenery, incredibly friendly staff and loads of charm. The restaurant was great and I enjoyed the food. It was a short walk to the ferry over the Nile to the East Bank where we saw the Karnak Temple and more....

We spent 10 days here while in Luxor. The West Bank is so much quieter and relaxing. The staff makes you feel part of the family. Sharif at the desk always is quick to answer any emails. Abdul and Ashraf are good waiters and helpful with any local needs. Have the Egyptian breakfast, the cooks did it a little different...

I went for Gezira Garden (the owners have 2 hotels, the 'Garden' is what they call the bigger one with the swimming pool) because we have 3 small children, and I needed the convenience of an apartment rather than being split up in separate rooms. Our apartment was 2 bedrooms with a balcony off one looking over the courtyard, a...

The Gezira Gardens hotel on Luxor's west bank is, and always has been, a real sweet place to stay. It is not your normal 5-star but it has so much charm and such a cozy, Bedouin atmosphere, that I keep returning to it time and time again. One of the best things about this hotel is its location -- on...

The hotel has an amazing restaurant and a great pool. I would definitely stay again at this hotel but i should point out that one night they had a belly dance Party in the roof terrace and the noise kept us awake until they finished at 12. That is REALLY LATE in Egypt, considering that you have to wake up...

Never stayed at this hotel but I have eaten at the restaurant just across the way (also called el gezeira but not garden) but have been to the Christmas Eve party at the el gezeira gardens. The food is excellent and really reasonably priced. It's authentic and tasty and always served with a smile, I really can recommend this place...
