The hotel is a nice looking building with a pretty lobby and friendly staff. We were able to see the Nile from our balcony. It has a little bar, although there are very limited choices. The pool area is quite nice and you catch a lovely breeze from the river. The issues were that the only internet access is by...

First of all, Egyptians developed an entirely new rate scale for hotels, this hotel in other parts of the world would be a 2/3 star hotel. It's not bad, it's clean and has an amazing pool with great views of the Nile. Rooms are old, there's no wifi, restaurant is not a place to recommend. Reception people are very nice...

Booked this hotel for 14 nights for our recent visit to Luxor. Thankfully having booked through Booking.com we did not pay in advance of going which on reflection was a good thing. We have been visiting Luxor for 20 years and usually stay at our favourite hotel, Maritim Jolie Ville Hotel and Spa, but thought that we would try to...

Its definitely a low budget hotel room was fair yet my room has a nile view and bathroom is big. food was also ok but limited. Suitable for one night accommodation if u on a low budget trip or u have no other place to stay. Furniture is kinda old and consumed. Be aware of mosquitoes when u open the...

We booked this hotel for a one night stay. The hotel is an old one but is still maintained well. The hotel is just a kilometer away from the famous Luxor temple. The rooms are clean and are maintained well. The view from our room was excellent. The hotel is on the banks of river Nile on the East Bank...

Nice view, clean, very very poor breakfast, and food in general not good, waiters at restaurant haven't good service, welcome drink only for foreigners. Hotel's furniture needs to renew. They don't like dealing with Egyptians.

This hotel is beyond beautiful on the outside - from the pool area, outside deck and finishing - it was amazing. the view of the River Nile and catching sunsets - everything about it from the outside was spectacular. it made you feel happy and excited to be in Luxor and amazed at beauty. However, the rooms left you with...

I've stayed in a number of the hotels that are often classed as 'budget' hotels over the years. This year I decided i'd try to Lotus for the first time. I was not disappointed. As a general rule, I don't actually like staying in the southern part of Luxor, but once I was inside the Lotus I felt comfortable. Reception...

Reception checked us in ok, but didn't seem to know how long we were staying. Room was ok, although a bit dated it had a balcony with a side on view to the pool and Nile. Room has fridge and TV, which we didn't use, air con/heating that didn't work, a luke warm shower, not great in December. The breakfast...
