I booked this hotel for my husband and myself because we wanted to splurge on one day of relaxation (and a pool, even if it was a tad chilly in this season) after our hardcore sightseeing in Luxor. We are also boutique hotel junkies. El Moudira fit all that and more. First off, it is possibly the most beautiful hotel...

This was definetly the best hotel we stayed in while touring Egypt - and unfortunately only for three nights. Zina has done and an astounding job creating a truly oriental atmosphere in a peaceful garden setting. We had a lovely spacious room, the high ceilings gave it an airy feeling and the coloured windows in the roof a beautiful light...

I was particularly excited about staying at Al Moudira and it didn't disappoint - it exceeded expectations. It was lovely, elegant, classy, relaxing...there was a photo opportunity everywhere you looked and the staff topped off the experience - they were all extremely lovely. The food was by far the best we had anywhere in Egypt (my husband and I have...

Al Moudira is just different from other hotels. It manages to create this rare blend of simplicity and elegance to make us feel at ease. The overall architecture is very pleasant with a number of courtyards spread in a nice garden. The rooms are very big and tastefully decorated. Nice bar and restaurant. But it is the quality of the...

Al Moudira is a special place to stay. Beautifully decorated, lovey large rooms, spacious gardens and a wonderful poo where you can relax over a good lunch! Very well located on the West Bank in easy distance from the Valley of the Kings and other main sights. The food is exceptional! Fresh made croissants filled with local dates for breakfast....

Al Moudira was our base while touring Luxor. It is on the West Bank and about 30 minutes from downtown Luxor. We loved it. The hotel is in moorish style, and beautiful. The rooms are large and comfortable with large bathrooms. The staff was uniformly friendly and accommodating. We ate there one evening and totally enjoyed it. It is very...

Al Moudira is a peaceful boutique hotel located in a quiet part of the westbank not too far from the famous Valley of the Kings. The rooms are decorated in oriental style. We chose a suite which offered a lush 70 sqm with a small water fountain in the middle of the room. In January it can get quite chilly...

This is a boutique hotel with individual rooms and bags of character. The staff are wonderful from Reception to Bar to Restaurant and all seem to have worked here for ages. The Owner always seems to be on hand and is a wonderful hostess. The Suites are big and spacious and you won't even hear The Call to Prayer. The...

Truly one-of-a-kind boutique hotel. The arab decor, with a french touch, is fantastic. The junior suites are large and luxurious, with high ceilings. They are not modern or sleek, but are elegant, comfortable, and jaw-droppingly atmospheric. The hotel is a hidden luxury oasis in Luxor. There is wifi in some of the public areas, but don't expect it in your...

What a disappointing experience! We reserved to have lunch m for 20 places (10 adults & 10 kids), hired a bus specifically to go to the West Bank, upon arrival, we were shocked to see that management has cancelled our table by the pool. Management even lied and denied that a reservation has been even made. Not to mention the...
