This hotel was obviously designed for luxury and that is mirrored as you walk Into the hotel. The floors and walls are marbled and look absolutely stunning We stayed in a total of 2 rooms. The first room we were put in was a twin room and we ordered a double there was also a large crack on the bottom of the balcony door so we asked to be moved. The hotel agreed however it soon became very obvious they didn’t know where to move us to. We moved with all our luggage. We went from the fourth floor to the fifth floor and the room the hotel tried to put us in was already occupied. This didn’t go down too well as we were tired and we just expected a little bit more. What happened after that was we were taken from the fifth floor back to the second floor . The room wasn’t what we paid for and we refused it again. By this time we were annoyed and asked to go back to our old room to which we were informed if had already been rented out to another customer. Annoyed and angry the hotel then took us back to the fifth floor. This room had a double bed, sea view and we accepted it. We couldn’t understand why the hotel didn’t offer us this room in the first place - it was as if they were saving it for someone who was going to pay more. Later in the night we discovered the mirror had a large crack. The hotel again offered us to move but by that point we were fed up and didn’t want to go through the annoyance of moving again. So we refused There were good points. At breakfast there is a gentleman called Ahmed who is soon to be retiring. He was a lovely man and really looked after us. He learned very quickly that we loved sitting on a table next to the window and so every morning without fail he would acknowledge us when we came through the door and ensure a window table was provided. His attention to little details did make us feel very special. He regularly conversed with my partner in Arabic which my partner appreciated Another gentleman called Ramadam was part of the house keeping team he was also very good and accommodating. He always ensured our room was cleaned to an exceptional standard and also made the towels into brilliant shapes and characters. We had a crocodile and swans. He also learned quickly that I like plenty of towels and always provided us with an abundance. Some hotels can be funny about towels so this little detail made all the difference. The pool is lovely and we’ll maintained. It is cold but Luxor is so hot it’s not uncomfortable. There is always someone there maintaining it to give out towels and one morning we found many people testing the chlorine levels of the pool which again was reassuring. Overall the hotel is nice but I do think it is too big for the staff to manage which is why little details are being missed. In every room we stayed in there was damage to windows and mirrors which should be fixed. The rooms themselves are average looking the furniture looks old and there is always something damaged however the bed is comfortable and the air con works well. The shower is weak at best and when a lot of people use the water at it’s warmest it is luke warm. However the view of the Nile and the pool is beautiful - there are always ships, boats and yachts passing by and is wonderful to watch. It’s a nice hotel but could be wonderful with a few adjustments

During our multi-day trip, we spent one night at the Pyramisa Isis Hotel. The reception, food, room decor and pool were also great. The room and the pool also have a view of the Nile River. It was wonderful to see the sunset and relax in this hotel. I hope we come back and be here longer. We thank the staff for their kindness and helpfulness.

Today I am very pleased because all the staff in the hotel have been given a Covid vaccination if they have not already had one. The second vaccination will be in 3/4 weeks. This is a wonderful initiative by the Hotel and the Egyptian Govenment to protect not only the staff but visitors also. If anyone has any doubts about visiting Egypt put them out of your mind as it's extremely safe. The hotel staff wear masks and are cleaning all the time. The hotel is immaculate and staff are helpfull Start thinking about booking your next holiday to the Pyramisa Luxor Hotel. You will not be disappointed

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. After the Arab Spring things deteriorated in the hotels and town due to the lack of tourists. But the amazing people of the city and the hotel staff did their very best to ensure that we still had the perfect holiday, despite how hard things were for the Egyptian people. The hotel has recently undergone an upgrade and modernisation of facilities. A nice job all said and done. For over 10 years I have amassed a list of names of fair and honest people for trips and tours. The best I have found is a taxi driver who operates from the hotel known as Mr Max. His actual name is Hassan. I have found him totally honest and reliable, plus if you say no to something he accepts this without question. He is an excellent ambassador for Egyptian honesty. Unfortunately not everyone is that way. In the hotel we were continually asked by the pool boy if we wanted him to arrange tours and trips for us. That he would do cheaper than anyone else. After I said no thank you, he would continue to pester me two or three times every time he saw me. I became so annoyed I started to avoid the pool. I was on holiday to relax and enjoy myself. I expected this kind of pressure selling at the souk, but certainly not whilst relaxing at the hotel.
