Stay here if you want to escape from some of the hassle of Luxor. Appreciate by the price that you won’t be staying in 5 star luxury, but you will get a great reception from Mahmood (maybe less so from the German partner). Rooms are big and clean, bathroom is functional and they are always there to whisk you into...

When I arrived to the hotel at time of the sunset, scene was bewitching,The rooms are large and clean, and we enjoyed fresh free fruit in the room. Swimming pool overlooking the Nile River, it's really the best hotel I stayed in Luxor.

We stayed in Al Baeirat for 9 nights (we slept 2 nights in Aswan) and it was delightful! We were very happy to stay at the west bank of the Nile because it is so quiet and there is no hassle the moment you leave your hotel (the hassle at the east bank was horrible, it's really tiring)! You can...

I travel regularly to Luxor..... more specifically, the West Bank of Luxor. When I go I always rent a flat in the village of Ramla or close by. So I've never stayed as a guest in Al Baeirat Hotel. However I go there for drinks and supper. Lovely place!! The staff is always smiling. Service is impeccable. Food is great...

Al Baeirat is a very quiet and confortable place at the West Bank in Luxor. It is a small hotel with only eight rooms. Therefore the atmosphere is very family like. Our children (8,6) had a great time with the owner's own children! The rooms are abolutely spotless and very spacious. Transport to the East Bank is easily arranged (and...

We have just got back from a three week trip to Egypt with the final week at this lovely hotel in Luxor. We spent a morning looking at different hotels and this was by far our favourite. It is located in a peaceful location, with the feeling of staying in a village rather that a busy town. The rooms are...

Al Baeirat is a perfect place to stay in luxor if you dont want bright lights on your doorstep and lots of places to eat nearby. Alternatively, if what you do want is peace and quiet, a sense of real egyptian life, a very family-feel small hotel, delicious egyptian food, spotless room and bathroom, friendly service - then its for...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On the banks of the Nile Hotel Al Baeirat is situated within a banana plantation. Like a little village it blends into the neighbourhood and is built of country-specific architecture with domed structure which is traditionally made of clay. Off the beaten track you can enjoy the silence and the egyptian style in a private and friendly atmosphere. For relaxation we are offering the whole family a wonderful swimming pool directly on the banks of the Nile. From our patio which is overlooking the Nile we are serving egyptian titbits. While sipping your coffee or drinking a cool beer you can let your eyes wander to the town of Luxor on the opposite shore and at night watch the bright lights of the incoming cruise liners. In the neighbourhood you will find numerous temple complexes, the Valley of the Kings and many more sights. ... more   less
