On my second visit to Egypt this year I spent five weeks at the Sheherazade. It is definitely my home away from home. There is little I can say to elaborate on what the last few reviewers have stated, except that the glowing reviews are absolutely true. The pool and new seating areas are magnificent. They blend in perfectly with...

A great hotel just got better. A new swimming pool has been added. It is in a secluded part of the garden, away from the hotel rooms. In addition to this pool, new seating areas have been built in the garden and washrooms and showers added. Visitors from other hotels in the area are welcome to this peaceful area. For...

This is my sixth time staying at hotel Sheherazade, and what a lovely surprise: they installed a magnificent swimming pool during the summer! Alongside the beautiful and clean pool are a row of palm trees and several new structures have been built; change rooms a new kitchen and bar. Now, after a long hot day of sightseeing I was able...

The hotel is tucked away down a network of quite streets, you will find inside the real life of Luxor which was amazing :) and it's easy to cross to the other side with a ferry. At first it might let you down because the rooms have no phone, TV, Internet or refrigerator, what was really annoying that we were...

We booked this hotel through Orbitz package and stayed for 3 days in July, 2016. At first glance it is kind of let down because this place doesn't have any of the normally expected amenities in the hotel room. No phone, TV, elevator, internet or refrigerator. Each room has its own A/C unit and its performance depended on the total...

The problem with the electricity cuts is not a hotel problem – it is a national problem. Every hotel in the same area would have been without electricity at the same time for just as long. Secondly, we do not claim to be a “luxury” hotel – we are unashamedly a budget hotel. There are no luxuries, but a clean...

I recently spent a total of eleven nights at the Sherherazade. In addition to all that has been previously said, I will add the following: Christine was polite and prompt answering all emails. Mohamed the owner, as said before, is a prince among men. The staff are all incredibly kind, friendly, and caring. The rooms are very clean. Mine opened...

Shehezerade is tucked away down a network of quiet streets on Gezira which is on the Valley of the Kings side of the Nile. It's quieter and more "real-life" than the Luxor side. The rooms weren't ostentatious but were perfectly comfortable and everything worked. The food was good. There was a lovely garden to sit and relax in or to...

Mr.Mohammed made sure every body happy. Although we did not stay in this hotel it is in the middle of neighborhood! Friendly staff, nice garden. Good place to get to know locals and...
