The hotel is nice, too, with a historical charm. It's nicely appointed and, while the furnishings aren't brand new, our rooms were not worn out by any measure. We found the staff friendly and attentive. Tired from our day around Cairo, we ordered room service for dinner and gazed at the pyramids from our large balcony. The menu was reasonably...

This is probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The history of the hotel and the stunning interiors of the original building are certainly worth exploring, it really is like walking back into an elegant history, but with every modern facility. We enjoyed our first meal in the Khan El Khalili a restaurant situated in the original...

If you're after a hotel with great views of the Pyramids, in sumptuous surroundings then look no further. However, it feels at times that the hotel relies to heavily on its location, letting standards slip in other areas. I arrived on a Friday night (around midnight) and was checked in fairly promptly. I noticed that an outdoor wedding was still...

When visiting the pyramids of Giza, the Mena House Hotel is the place to stay. The hotel is at the base of the pyramids and offers some spectacular views. spacious room but some of the furniture isn't in top shape and generally lacks some charm. The carpet was very faded and didn't look any too clean. Nice sized patio with view of the pyramid(s); that's pretty awesome. Downside on a weekend? incredible loud blasting music that will vibrate you out of your room and goes on until 11:30P or...

This hotel gets excellent reviews and deserves them. One plus is an on-site bank to buy pounds. The service was impeccable. The site is secure and well guarded. We had a pyramid view - and what a view. It should be said the Egyptians are wonderful hosts. The are polite, friendly and solicitous. We had wondered when we could make...

After a very long travel to get there, I was thrilled to be met at the airport by a Mena House representative. I highly recommend it. It is also about an hour drive so great to have a driver there to meet me. Hotel is beautiful and comfortable and reasonably priced. I also had great food and cocktails there too!...

Overall review is excellent,we stayed 3 nights. The rooms and facilities were clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant Khan al Khalil was fantastic and so was the breakfast buffet and the elegant and friendly head waiter was very genuinely warm. We enjoyed his company.
