The hotel itself is good, the food is great if not a little expensive but there is a KFC right around the corner, the staff and the terrace views are really what make this hotel as good as it is. The rooms are decent sized, same with the bathrooms, the wifi is hit or miss depending on what floor you're on but the staff is always willing to reset the router or call the company to get it fixed.

Upon arrival to the airport, we were greeted by our very patient and safe driver named Sayed who waited for an hour and a half for our delayed flight. We arrived at The Hayat Pyramid View and were greeted by Samir who was very friendly and spoke English very well. Samir took us up to enjoy the beautiful night view of the pyramids and talk about our plans for tomorrow. We told him the sites that we would like to see for our group of 6 and came to a compromise with our budget. The next morning, it was breath taking to wake up to the amazing view of the three main pyramids right outside our window. We went to the roof patio and was greeted by our friendly and talented waiter Hamudi who later took lots of beautiful photos of us after our meal. The breakfast was delicious and the service was amazing! Our very safe driver picked us up at 9am with Egyptologist Nasser. Nasser spoke English well and was very kind, protective, patient, honest and informative. Nasser ensured that we were well taken care of and didn’t get taken advantage of by the pushy street vendors. He took us to a reputable restaurant called Sakkara. In the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful English speaking light show and informative presentation that is best seen from the Hayat. We cannot thank the staff at The Hayat Pyramid View enough for everything they have done! The hotel is a little dated but we paid for the view and the experience and it was well worth it!

I stayed with my daughter for one night on this hotel. The time in the roof was amazing... <Good> 1, View, view, view from the roof top area. I spent an hour to take photos and also set up my camera to take interval shooting. 2, We had breakfast. although breakfast is very simple but the time we spent is wonderful in front of the 4000years of the ancient era. 3, You can see the night show of the pyramid (ilumination) at free from the roof top. <Bad> not so much. The room is simple, not 4 or 5 star quality but comfortable. Maybe you will be asked to consider to hire the guide. It may be good ideaif you want to go around sightseeing place quickly and efficiently like us. But their offer was expensive. I asked a half-day guide tour with camel ride in pyramids. They offered 100USD. After negotiation, it was 75 USD (including entrance ticket not included inside pyramid). I thought it was still expensive but remember everything is negotiable in Egypt. Indeed, my guide requested more tip as he said he didnt get any money from the hotel which I don't believe anyway. The tour itself was great by the way.
