Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Short stay with my husband. The staff are very friendly and so helpful. The room is very simple but its comfortable. The breakfast is very simple more continental breakfast. Hotel is keeped clean and tidy. If you want to go out and eat something all the restaurants are very close by and I would recommend the place if you want to stay for a short visit.

A very strategically located hotel for low cost traveler. Hotel staff friendly, however the restaurant not well serviced. Breakfast choice not very wide. Could do well with extra lighting. Were allocated a room with two separate small beds for me and my wife.

This hotel location is very good, 10 min to the airport, lots of restaurants and cafes around, 5 min walk to ELKORBA which is a very good place at night. Clean rooms with dated furniture in good condition, familiar staff, and good service Good for short stay

A group of scuba divers spent 4 nights in this hotel for sightseeing before going on to Sharm El Sheikh for a week of diving in the Red Sea. We managed to see the high points of Cairo and Alexandria. The hotel is located no too far from the International Airpoet in the Heliopolis area. We found in the San block a group of restaurants that were wonderful as well as a Coffee Restaurant about two blocks away. The hotel was pleasant and the staff was very helpful as they really wanted to please us. The complimentary beeakfast was pretty much an Egyptian breakfast. The rooms were clean and neat. If you don’t want to break the bank this is a good choice. We felt very safe in this area and ventured out on foot several times.

Great local rates and good location if you are in Heliopolis. Not up to my standards, but for the price, it's ok. Decent size rooms. Friendly staff. Really cheap laundry compared to typical hotel. All rooms are smoking, in case that matters to you. Internet ok, but not great. Definitely dated furniture and decor, but again, for the price, it's ok.

The hotel is well kept and is clean. The staff is helpful and eager to please though its mastery of English problematic. The rooms are spacious enough. The restaurant is nice and the food abundant. Breakfast is okay. The hotel is well located (near metro station and close to stores and restaurants). A note of caution regarding peace and quiet. Two nights out of four I was prevented from sleeping by 1) the guests, probably, above me (steps and loud TV until well passed 1.30am) 2) guests checking in and making much noise in the hallway from 1.30am to 2am (along with staff carrying suitcases)

Location is one of the best in Helipolis. Near Metro station. Excellent friendly and knowledgable staff. Best pub in Cairo. Quiet. Great breakfast. Clean. Inexpensive. Free airport shuttle. Staff willing to help with shopping and packing. Many of the staff have been there for decades.

On the bright side, the hotel's location is nice; lots of shops and cafes nearby. Also, there is a nearby metro station. Downsides, however, are plenty. Not so clean despit the prompt room service; the floor corners had old crumbs! Breakfast is of poor variety, overpriced, and not included in the room's charged price! Bottom line, it's an OK hotel, defenitely not the cheapest in cairo for this level of service, but it is one of the cheepest in the Heliopolis area. Balance between your needs and budget before booking.
