I stayed in Sakkara inn a year ago for several days and was totally spoiled by generosity and Kindness of the owner Mohamed! It is really nice quiet place. I will never forget an amazing breakfast with a view on the Pyramid on the Terrasse and evenings with a Bedouin's special spicy tea and the hunderts of stars above... trully unforgettable moments, which stay in heart forever! And most important the assistance and help which Mohamed offers you as a trusted host and guide to the most hidden ancient places all around... which is a great bonus to your hotel stay. So can only recommend!
First hotel we visited in egypt, we had reserved for 4 days but we ended staying longer and we will be back again. Really nice room and places to stay like the roof and the nice garden. Nice sightseeings and near a village and lots of places of interest. The people of the hotel is very good and helpful. We had a really nice time there, happy to find the place.
It was my first time in Egypt and i was a little scared bacause arabic language is so difficult to understand. When i arrived to the airport, a driver of the hotel was waiting for me and i was recibed at the hotel by Mohamed and Mahmut. Im so pleased for the service that i recived becasue they learn me to live and make busisness with egiptians. Making city tours with Mohamed its really funny bacause he knows a lot of places to visit, not only the Touristic ones. About the room, is very confortable and good cleaning so I recommed this hotel if you want to feel the real Egyptian power.
How lovely to be in an authentic Egyptian village with all its busy life...an absolute hot from Arab mates to kids on donkeys and mad tuktuk drivers. The owner of the inn is great fun and noting is any trouble. He arranges drivers for Giza and central Cairo. These drivers are excellent and one feels safe with them. The village has its own pyramids so you can walk on the edge of the sahara and see the stars. There are shops in the village and the inhabitants are charming . Mohammed is keen for his visitors to see the sights and his elegant hotel has a calming garden and some pyramids can be seen from the landings. Just ask him what you want to do and he will make it happen like a magician then back to the calm of the inn.
I picked this hotel because I wanted accomodation close to the Pyramids and this one had great reviews saying you can really get in touch with the locals and not feel like a tourist. This turned out to be 100% true. The setting is really a dream, in a small village in a rural area outside Cairo, yet not too far away from the city centre and the Pyramids of Giza, between Nile canals and the desert. The pyramids of Sakkara can be seen in the distance, the pyramids of Abusir are within walking distance. In Giza you certainly couldn't just go for a short evening walk around the pyramids like in Abusir. The hotel owner Mohammed and his brother catered for all my needs at any time and made me feel like a friend and a guest of their family. They also organised all my excursion at a very low price. I immediately felt at home. Also, the place felt very safe. All in all, a very pleasant and authentic Egyptian experience exceeding my expectations by far. It is the best place if you go to Egypt for sightseeing and want to get to know Egyptian people at the same time. I would have loved to stay longer and I'll definitely return.…
