This hotel was up to the Four Seasons standard. My criteria is always cleanliness and this lived up to my expectations. After a full day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to the hotel and relax. We had a good sized balcony and comfortable chairs overlooking the Nile and although noisy from the road below it got quieter later in the evening and you couldn't hear it anyway in the room. Our fault for going to Egypt during Ramadan when restaurants are closed so it was difficult to find somewhere to eat. The whole trip was amazing!
Our room was overlooking the Nile. Breathtaking view. Luxurious facilities all throughout. Excellent customer service. Excellent breakfast buffet. A large variety of healthy choices to our liking, staff would oblige to every request made. We would definitely return. My only gripe is that they close most of their restaurants during Ramadan which deprived other clients from enjoying and savouring the culinary experience their top restaurants have to offer. FS should also consider having their own in-house Beauty salon and nail spa within their own private spa to avoid inconveniencing their clients from having to use an external independent facility within the mall where staff are rude badly trained, inconsistent with FS standards and to ensure continuity of good service. Will definitely return to this fabulous hotel but avoid Ramadan to ensure a jolly bubbly atmosphere! …
The hotel was fairly full and there are only 2 restaurants available for dinner. It was impossible to get a reservation. Cairo is such a horribly filthy city that one does not want to venture out of the hotel.
elegant hotel, comfortable rooms, ample clean waters and all amenities are fantastic. Pool area is fabulously decorative and comfortable . Only complaint is difficult to walk out to anything much - but that is probably fine since you dont often walk by yourself in Egypt as a tourist. I felt very safe and comfortable in this hotel
Four Seasons Cairo exceeded my expectations on my recent visit to Cairo. I booked their Airport Meet and Greet + Visa service. This proved to be a good decision. We were greeted by a Four Seasons staff member with at the airport. He handled immigration for us (didn't have to speak to the border officer), took our luggage and whisked us off to the Mercedes that took us to the hotel. This was especially helpful for an Indian passport holder in our party (developing country passport holders are usually harassed at airports, but we avoided all that). The rooms are excellent and so are the common areas. I would like to highlight this hotel's class wrt billing. I accidentally booked an additional day for a guest in my party (she arrived 1 day later). I didn't mention it at all (as it was my fault). Guess what? Four Seasons didn't bill us for that additional day! I organized a tour through them. The tour guide - Sally was knowledgable and was an expert at navigating the rough elements that you encounter in a tourist industry which is unfortunately, full of scams. She genuinely cares about Egypt and how its perceived in the world. She was one of the rare people in Egypt to not ask for a tip and turned it down even though we insisted. I recommend her as a tour guide to anyone who wants to tour Egypt.…
Wonderful in every way! Staff and service and comfort and cleanliness! Just gorgeous. Perfect location. Pool and hot tub were incredible, food was really tasty, the view of the Nile from the room was sensational.
Popped here for a quick lunch after handling some paperwork Downtown. Expected the food to be high quality, as you would at an establishment of this standing, however, a pasta and burger took over an hour to come. The pasta came like warm and 3 and a half hours later made me violently ill. Will be writing to management.
We stayed at The Four Seasons Nile Plaza (better than experience at Four Seasons Residence on way back from Nile cruise and Luxor) for 2 nights. Both Four Seasons are located adjacent to mall shopping. Memorable was the Chinese Restaurant 8, 2nd best meal we had on our whole trip, with excellent service. This books up fast so call ahead or make reservations on line. Second night we ate at the Upper Deck above pool with windows overlooking the pool. The food was good. We also had a great hamburger by the pool when we arrived, with Hibiscus cold tea. Excellent. I would definitely choose this Four Seasons Nile Plaza over Four Seasons Residence.
The hotel is amazing in an amazing location. The service can't be beat. The concierge helped us a lot. The hotel members were amazing and helpful. The hotel have a doctor on site in case of emergencies. That all makes it a perfect stay. I would like to note that the people at the door need to be more friendlier. I came with a driver and he was suppose to wait for me and I saw the man asking my driver to wait 15 minutes "down" and then leave. That wasn't appropriate. I of course spoke to him and fixed the issue. Point is, you don't need these kind of unnecessary stress. Everything else was top notch. And yes, I recommend having Egyptian coffee there!
This property was booked for us by A&K for visiting sites other than the Pyramids (for which we stayed at Mena House). Yes, Cairo can be dusty and the traffic scary, but this is probably the best hotel to book to minimize both. It served us very well as a base to see the rest of Cairo. We found the hotel staff to be extremely friendly and service-oriented. The room and common areas easily met a Four Seasons standard. We were fortunate to have an 11th floor room with a balcony and river view and could not have been more pleased. Committed to dining with lighter fare, we had lunch at the pool bar (we highly recommend the beef shawarma) and dinner both nights at the Upper Deck. The food and service were excellent. A shout out to Salah at Upper Deck who took care of us both nights. He was an amiable host, whose attention and attitude contributed to delightful evenings.…
