The hotel is located in a nice view to the Nile river and you can see pyramids. Location - middle of the city in a very safe and ordered Cairo region called Zamalek. There are supermarket, banks, money exchange and metro station nearby. Good price. But. Our one bedroom suite was big but poorly fitted, decorated and very old. One...

Hotel staff are dishonest and not well qualified. Internet connection never worked. Receptionist took our money but arranged no Taxi for us - we ended up paying twice the fees (Receptionist - he's still in his shift but apparently was not there when the taxi comes - such a thief)

It was our sencond stay in Cairo and we had a terrific time. It helped a lot that the hotel was so nice, so well located and with very helpful staff. We intend to go back next year.

At USD140 per night - this is easily the worst place I have ever stayed. And that includes some terrible places in Zambia / Zimbabwe. The air conditioning didn't ever work. The staff will never give you any change for anything. So if they say a bottle of water is E£7 - and you give them E£50 they will never...
