We stayed as a family of 5 in one of the Ambassador Suites. The decor was a bit dated but it was clean and very spacious, designed for living rather than just as a hotel stay. There were 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, as well as a very large living room, formal dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen just had the basics of a kitchen but there was a small clothes washer as well. No detergent was provided but we just used shower gel which was a good substitute. The air is so dry in Egypt that hanging the clothes overnight was enough for most clothes to completely dry by morning except for heavier clothing. As for the rest of the hotel, it had very nice decor, decorated especially for Christmas when we were there. Staff was very courteous and attentive. There was a manned gate outside, on a street with multiple embassies with armed guards so it felt very safe. About a 10-15 minute safe walk to the busy 26th of July corridor where there are more restaurants and shops. ATM immediately outside the main hotel entrance but inside the hotel gate, which was convenient. Breakfast buffet was included for our package, was very nice with a large selection of foods. We had dinner once in the Asian restaurant on site. It was average, not great. There are better restaurants elsewhere. There was a pool but it was too cold for any of us to take advantage of that in December. Overall a very nice place to stay, in a relatively quiet area of Cairo.

The Hilton Zamalek is located on the island of the same name, which is an area of embassies and hotels in Cairo. It is particularly located next to the Nile with incredible views from the room, the restaurant and the Tea Time lounge. The service provided by Ms. Farida (Guest Relations) together with her team is exquisite. Ms. Farida and her team are very attentive and make sure everyone has a really good reception experience! Always very attentive and available, she takes care of all the details. I was impressed with the attention we received throughout our stay. Much of our satisfaction is due to this. The breakfast is excellent and varied, catering to the most diverse palates and cultures. The hotel welcomes guests from all over the world. I was able to follow the care taken in preparation and conservation, with employees even checking the temperature during the display of the food. One detail caught our attention: The hotel had an employee just to prepare bread in the oven next to the pool. Thus, fresh bread was offered at all times. The restaurant has excellent food options at fair prices. We had dinner every day at the hotel. Tea Time is a beautiful lounge with a super pleasant view of the Nile. Spending time watching feluccas at night is really enjoyable. I recommend the Hilton Zamalek for a stay in Cairo.

The Hilton zamalek is sitting in a great location on the nile and very central they have a great view of the nile river and cairo city from the room balcony probably the best, very clean room and comfy bed but classic furniture.
The staff are very welcoming especially the receptionists Housna and Hazem were very attentive and helpful and made my stay very easy.
The breakfast is classic open buffet with variety of international, local food and sweet. the staff at the breakfast were very warm, Rania, sayed and yasmin were very attentive to guests needs and made me feel at home.
All in all is a very good place to stay.

I booked this hotel for my family (husband, teenage daughter and 10year old son) having read all the positive reviews and I would echo all sentiments expressed. We arrived at the hotel at 1.30am in the morning to meet a warm welcome from Mohammed who checked us in quickly to the Ambassador suite which we’d booked and by the time we got to the suite our bags were there. The Amassador suite is the largest 3 bedroom suite I’ve stayed in with 3 distinct living areas, 3 bedrooms; 2 with double beds and one with a king size bed a dining area and kitchen. There are wrap around balconies and incredible views of the Nile. While the furniture has been described as dated, I found it all clean and adequate for our needs. The staff in this hotel are what truly set them apart from other hotels as they go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome. Breakfast has a fine selection; I particularly loved the omelette and pancakes section and the fresh juices which had strawberry and guava juices too. Mahmoud was always on hand checking we were okay and had everything we needed. The lovely Farida alongside Dina surprised me on my birthday by not only wishing me happy birthday but also arranging for a cake to be made by the chef and decorations done in our suite by Hany. Housekeeping was impeccable with the lovely Heba cleaning everyday and Mr Wael; Executive Housekeeper popping in to check we were happy with the standards. My husband and I treated ourselves to a massage; Maryam my masseuse was splendid as was Omar who my husband was happy with. In terms of the general area, you do feel safe given the checks done before you can get in, there is also a Costa coffee shop and supermarket about 6mins walk from the hotel. The WiFi is strong (my son was able to play his Fortnite game online☺️) and the room service menu is varied with reasonable prices. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton, created lovely memories and cannot thank the staff here enough for all they’ve done to make our stay special

Hilton Zamalek Residence is simply an outstanding hotel, located in the heart of the city with an amazing view of the Nile! The location is perfect — right in the center, close to the main attractions, making the stay even more convenient and unforgettable. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, and you can't help but fall in love with such panoramas!
The staff here is truly top-notch. Mohamed El Sohid at the reception and Farida in guest relations were incredibly helpful and showed great care throughout our stay. We were absolutely impressed with their service — always attentive, friendly, and ready to assist with anything. When my friend’s child got sick, the hotel quickly prepared a special soup for him, and the public relations specialist even called to check on his health — such care is rare to find!
The breakfast here is a true delight: freshly squeezed juices made from guava, strawberry, and orange, along with a huge selection of pastries that will make you start your day with a smile. The food is delicious, but the main highlight is the atmosphere and the stunning views, making the stay truly special. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy comfort and the beauty of this amazing city!

I came to Egypt with my American college students for a week and stayed at the Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences. We had a fantastic experience. Everyone there was really helpful, especially Mr. Tamer at guest relations, and Mr. Hassan who ran the restaurant, both indoors and pool side. Mina, at breakfast, offered us a quote of the day along with our meal. Abanoub was happy to oblige when we requested to be treated to an Egyptian breakfast, asking the chef to whip up a special batch of fool and fresh taameya along with the freshly baked bread. Everything was fabulous, the breakfast, the room service, the house keeping (thank you Ms. Iman!), and all of the attention to detail involved with our stay. The location was very central, offering a view of the Nile, while also allowing my students the freedom to safely wander Zamalek, which is full of restaurant and shopping options. It's a very walkable area and they were able to navigate it independently with ease. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and if I come back it's the only place I would stay.

Best staff and experience I’ve had for a hotel that was not a Waldorf Astoria or Conrad. We were in a bind coming off a catfished experience with an Airbnb in Cairo. My daughter was able to call the hotel for me and secure two nights. It was 6am and the hotel was able to accommodate an early check in which was helpful as I just finished traveling from Switzerland to Cairo. I am a Diamond member with HIlton and that was recognized as I checked in. Received an upgrade to a higher, floor, bigger room with a nice balcony that wrapped around the room. Room was clean and stocked. Could have used a few more hand towels and wash cloths but that was not a big deal. Housekeeping staff Eman brought them when I requested. Room and housekeeping. Grade A Restaurant by the pool area. This staff here was awesome as well. We were always greeted for breakfast and when we would go up for nightly drinks. They have Hookah’s there too if you like. You just have to request it. It’s about $2.60 USD at the time. The older gentleman walks around every few minutes to replace with fresh coals. Thought was very nice. The servers, Nader and I believe Abu were great. Very conversational, always asked how we were doing, how was our day and just fun to talk to. Grade A++ Location: Right in the area of Zamalek. Walking distance to many thins. It was August for this trip so pretty hot. If you need laundry, there is a place called Isis Laundry around the corner. Mohammed the owner had my clothes washed, folded, put into a plastic bag within 6 hours. About 10kg weight of clothing and only charged me $10.50 USD. Highly recommended!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Hilton Collections for my wonderful experience during my last stay. From the moment I arrived to my departure, I clearly noticed the high standard of cleanliness and care that sets this hotel apart. The hotel''s attention to providing a comfortable and safe environment for guests is constantly kept clean and arranged, which is much appreciated A special thank you to the squad, armor, marble, and rum reserve at check-in and departure.
