I stayed here twice, each end of a Nile River cruise. My first visit was for one night and I spent most of my time asleep. However, my room was large and very well equipped. It had all the amenities of a large branded hotel. On my second visit I was allocated a room next door to my first visited room. It was of equal size but had a most enormous bed although I was unable to take advantage of its capability of accommodating 3-4 people! The good sized TV enabled me to watch my go-to choice whilst on holiday, namely BBC World News. However, had I wished I could have chosen from every imaginable sports channel and even some sports of which I was fortunately unfamiliar. There were several restaurants but I only used the main buffet style restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. For both, there was a reasonable choice of well presented food. The staff are observant and very competent. There are tables both in and outside. There are ATM’s, swimming pool, sun bathing areas, loungers, outdoor bars and , I’m sure, many other facilities undiscovered by myself. The huge foyer is reminiscent of long forgotten colonial style past! Don’t think you will be permitted to even touch your own luggage; it will be expertly handled by the concierge staff! On my first visit I carelessly and foolishly left my insulin in the room’s refrigerator. Within 30 minutes of being in my room there was knock on the door. On opening I found a bellboy holding my insulin! That is exceptional service for you (well, for me, really.) I certainly recommend this excellent hotel!

I can’t give this hotel more than 3 stars. From the start, the receptionists were cold and their only and first concern was to get our credit card for a 100 dollars hold. No welcome, no explanation of what services we should expect, no information on meals; they didn’t even bother telling us where the restaurant or the bar were. They gave us a smoking room and when I called them to have it changed there were no apologies. The pillows and the bed sheets in the second room still smelled the smoke. The bathroom was tired and in dire need of renovation, showing signs of bodged repaired. The electric socket in the bathroom needs attention ( see photos). When you have a shower the floor is like a paddling pool. Towels were tired and old and wet ones weren’t always replaced. I had to ask for a second towel as they put only one for two people. The room was dark and needed updating. The restaurant was ok and the staff were kind enough but nothing special. I can’t recommend this hotel and although it’s only 15 minutes from the airport there are much better hotels nearby. To avoid!

Disgusting attitude towards guests!! Very loud music plays at night, staff does not respond to complaints. We had an early check-out planned; when booking, it was indicated that a quiet non-smoking room was required, but we were unable to sleep at all. The staff did not respond to requests to move or turn down the volume. In addition, the iron (which does not work) was brought at the request for a while, about an hour later they came to pick it up. The on-site restaurant served raw shrimp in a salad for dinner. The hotel is old, all rooms have worn carpets, smell of cigarettes. On the plus side - good location. I don't recommend the hotel.

Every afternoon there is a gentleman playing the piano loudly in the lobby. You can't be in the lobby of the noise hotel. The piano noise reaches the second floor and you cannot rest in the rooms. The Hotel is clean, friendly staff members (some let you down though) the breakfast buffet was excellent with a good selection of savoury and sweet selection. The penne ariabata was amazing from the Italian restaurant. The waiter was kind enough to make us a non alcoholic mohito. Tje chef at breakfast was very good too interactive and no request was ignored.
I was traveling with young children ranging from 2 - 8year old and 2 other adults. We had connecting family room with a cot bed. Room service always cleaned rooms. The bathroom could do with some renovating but overall it was OK. The balcony had a nice view facing the swimming pool. The swimming pool was warm however kids pool was cold! There was a play area for kids, which was constantly being cleaned and it was great fun entertainment. They had a big screen outside but not anything decent to watch. It would be nice if they had movies playing give it an outside cinema feel.
They did have weddings there in the outside area and the music was a little bit loud but to be honest we really enjoyed it. The music kept going until after midnight.
We booked most of our activities through the hotel and our driver Mohammed was amazing. He made us feel safe and made sure we had an excellent time. The hotel should be very proud to have him. The manger of the activities (didn't catch his name) was the complete opposite. He made inappropriate comments towards us which made us uncomfortable. The other thing that really was not nice was the constant bugging from porters asking us where we had been and how much we paid for the activities!!! We did bring this to the hotels attention in the end. I understand why they would ask in the reception and write the info down but the porters were riding up elevators with us to ask!!!! This should be prohibited as it becomes very awkward.
Overall stay could've been 10/10 easily if the few things could be improved. Great stay for families with young children.

Concorde 5 Stars on the outside 1 Star on the inside... Great location only 15mins from thr Airport. Gated with armed security at check in. The grounds,lobby and everything outside the rooms are 5 star luxury.
NOW everything else. Rooms: Very old, looks like furniture, doors, lighting and everything but the sheets were from 1970. The 1st room we had the bath tub wall fell in and cause major flooding so we moved to a new room.
2nd room: Still very old and smelled like smoke. Must be from 1970s cigarettes. Coffee machine was broken, 1 light fixture wouldn't stay on and the fridge didn't turn on.
Room Service: Large menu back everything we ordered lacked any taste.
Breakfast buffet: The spread was amazing Large and looked top notch 5 star. Unfortunately 95pct of the food had no taste so we left disappointed.
Other: Food service delivery did not deliver here.
