The rooms were spacious and cute. Breakfast was a little small. Staff could be difficult but were not overall horrible. Good location but nice and quiet. Would not recommend putting food in the communal fridge because someone ate our food.

This was my 30 year reunion visit to Cairo Ismailia and the Nile cruise. My wife picked the Bella Luna for its location in central Cairo. As reeducated Americans from Hostel living in China, Vietnam, Korea and Turkey we discovered that customer service was way more important than the affordable price. Soliman and staff offered us full service bilingual help...

The location of the hotel was quite good - it is in Downtown Cairo and a 10 minute walk from the Egyptian museum. There are also a few good places to eat nearby as well as lots of shops (although these are more for the locals than the tourists) The rooms were quite big and spacious, and the facilities were...

First the rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. The room did not have a TV and the walls are very thin. In addition, my room happened to be in the reception area. Each morning they would play music and the chatter from guests was unsettling. I wasn't too pleased with that. The price was good, I didn't try the...

The room sizes are very large, and there is hot water 24/7 for showers. A/C in every room, although in December we didn't need it. Lovely balcony in the rooms. WiFi works well, and nice communal area to sit, with a TV. Walking distance to the Egyptian museum and the river, and there are many restaurants very close by. Breakfast...

It's a clear example that "you get what you pay for" ... room is quite clean, breakfast is a joke, the manager/owner is a very rude person. It's on a third floor... it has elevator but it's like a mortal trap... The pictures on the website are way better than reality.

Dear Valued Guest, We appreciate every feedback about our hotel in every aspect to be able to provide the best service to all dear guests. Bella Luna offers budget accommodations, best value of money, clean and comfortable rooms with light (continental) breakfast, which is already mentioned in the hotel description. As for the elevator, it works probably with weekly maintenance...

Hotel room very clean, with lift to 3rd floor. Bathroom & A/C in room but no TV or fridge. High ceiling. Reception area functions as breakfast room; breakfast is poor but that seems to be the case in most budget hotels I've visited in Cairo. The location of the hotel is convenient for exploring Old Cairo & there are several...

This was the perfect place for a single traveler. It is well located in a busy, lively, shopping district that stays going all night. The staff was always there to answer any questions I needed. They arranged an airport pickup and drop off as well as a great tour to the pyramids. I felt safe and cosy and always felt...

I stayed 10 days at the Bella Luna Hostel, it is a perfect location downtown Cairo. Soliman who is in charge of the hostel and all the staff are friendly and always ready to help. I actually arrived on the 30th of March to begin a search for an apartment. As Ramadan was quickly approaching, this became rather difficult. I ended up extending my stay several times for a total of two months! As a woman traveling alone I highly recommend staying here. It may seem quite daunting and unappealing as you approach and first...
