I highly recommend. Lovely stay at le Riad after a few days in the desert. Big and comfortable suits, with hint showers and all you needs In the heart of Khan El Khalili, it has a great rooftop for drinks at night and their food is the best I have eaten on my trip. The staff is amazing, warm, nice and charming. Everything was perfect. Book a room in a high floor as it can be a bit loud in the street at night with live music. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place.
Is amazing near of market , amazing food, amazing decoration and confort, Is for people who whant tô be near of the life and city movment , is near of restaurants and shopping. The crew os Very suportivie
I did a lunch with our clients. It is a lovely place in the historical center of Cairo that we call it Islamic Cairo. It has a lovely view towards the Mohamed Ali Mosque and the Citadel of Saladin. The Hotel has the Islamic and Arabic style of windows, walls and seats.
This is a charming, lovely hotel right in the heart of Old Cairo. The location was perfect for visiting the markets and the Egyptian Museum. The staff was friendly, the service was wonderful. The suite we had was large and very clean. The restaurant on the rooftop terrace was a great place for breakfast and dinner, serving fresh delicious food. The only problem is the street noise which is quite loud and goes on well into the night. We were there right before Ramadan, which contributed to the celebrations in the streets I’d stay there again because of the great staff and location.
This hotel is absolutely amazing. It's full of charm, and the service was spectacular. It's located in a historic area of the city that is mostly foot traffic, and while there is street noise it isn't terrible. We stayed in the Bohemian room and while it didn't have a balcony it was off the road so it was quieter. The resturaunt there at the hotel was some of the best food we had in Cairo, and it's within walking distance of Khan Al Khalili bazaar so the location really was great. Loved my stay here!
Very atmospheric hotel - for me much more interesting than staying in one of the big names down the Nile. The hotel is full of unique touches and feels like a full immersive experience located right in the heart of the Islamic Old Town. The streets outside are very noisy at night with music and chatter from the cafes. If you want a quieter room the hotel will try and move you further away from the street - I love noise so no problem for me but really don’t come here if you want silence… The restaurant serves very good food. Very limited vegetarian options though. I think all in all a little overpriced but I really enjoyed my time here and the staff are wonderful.
This Riad is cozy, well appointed and well designed. The rooms are perfectly designed. The rooftop restaurant had some of the best rice I've ever had and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Mohammad from the front desk team organized our travel and pcr tests. He made our check-in seamless. I'd highly recommend this place to solo female travelers as it is very safe.It is also right in the souk.
Awsome building, amazing location, and super nice and helpful staff. Perfect choice. Special thanks to Raghda and Moenes. Situated in the most beautiful street of Cairo, surronded by historical buildings and souks and nightlife is stunning and noisy. Can t wait to come back. Mireia Catalunya
It is a nice old style hotel but........it is 22.10 on our first night of three. We are in our room (in the hotel) and can not really have conversation due to the incessant music from the cafe across the street. Not too sure how we can be expected to sleep!!!!! We have paid what a normal person would consider to be a lot of money for our room.
I love the decor and the situation. It is like being in Arabian Nights. I have stayed here twice, both times getting a three room suite. Both were beautiful. The service is gracious and helpful. Don’t choose it if you are noise sensitive as the street is busy until midnight. It is a great area to wander around, being very close to the bazaar and inside the walls of the old islamic city centre. There is a view over the old town from the roof restaurant, which has an inside and outside dining area and wonderful food.
