Visited Egypt with family and unfortunately stayed in this hotel for 5 nights as I book my holidays through e bookers . They said 3 star raiting and very good ! Only things is best about this hotel is location everything walking distance if you are city lover . They think only you are cash ATM for them in room we found mouse my kids not even sleep since properly !!! I had really bad experience & family got sick from dust ! Let me give score for others , out of 10 . 1. Honestly Score 0 2. Cleanness score 0 3. Service Score 0 4. Brake fast Score 1 5. Guide Score 2 6. Driver /car. Score 1 7. Room facility score 0 After all I have paid £6500 Egyptian pound for car , guide , and full pack ! What I get is only take us to giza & museum and both trip also lunch . Which cost only less then £1000 EGP . I really hope this will help to others , do not waste your time & money with them . They need to improve and stop lie . Also all of big platform they sale room to as 3 star rating they should investigate before recommend to clint even ! This is jokes do not use them at all .…
A very old but well maintained hotel situated in the old part of town. The staff is friendly and helpful. But they have trouble accommodating a group of 8. Although we are only friends and therefore all booked separate beds half the group had to share queen size bed. One pair couldn't stay in the same room as it was overbooked. The rooms are very cramped to a degree that it's difficult to open a suitcase and they're not very clean. They are not dirtier than most other Egyptian hotels we've stayed in though. Not all rooms have private bathroom. Breakfast is not impressive.
I have been already to the Cairo Inn two years ago. It was a great experience and also this time I felt like a family member. Very warm welcome, spacious and nice rooms and the breakfast can even be served to your room on request on no extra charge. The Cairo Inn is located really downtown, close to a lot of Restaurants, snack Bars and 1001 shop‘s. The Staff is very helpful and give hints about tourist attractions. On request the can even arrange various Tours to any place of interest. I personally made a tour to Saquara and Gizeh and was more than happy. Of course you always find cheaper tours and hotels, but this is the perfect mix between safety, hassle-free, good accommodation, cleanness and price. Therefore I am looking forward to my next Trip to Egypt.
Not expecting a 5 star establishment, I was not at all surprised when I came to 'Cairo Inn', after having been met at the airport by Fatih, the smiling driver, dispatched to meet me from the airport. What this small, budget hotel lacks in 'luxury' is more than made up for by the very kind and friendly welcome by all the staff who work here. Eid and Joseph are the hard working and extremely helpful receptionists and it was Eid who was on duty to help me to settle in on my arrival and to provide me with coffee and information as to what I could do during my 3 nights’ stay in Cairo. He was very informative and there began my quite busy experience of tours around Cairo viz The Nile Cruise; Pyramids (day and night) plus Ancient Cairo. The point that I am making is that I felt totally secure, happy and satisfied with all that the 'Cairo Inn' had organised for me along with the evening 'Light and Sound Show' at Giza on my final night's stay. After my trips to see the sights, I always received a very warm welcome back at the hotel, along with the essential coffee or tea plus little chat about my adventures. This to me meant a lot. I was staying in what felt like a small, family oriented establishment, where I came and went as I pleased, always to be greeted by a friendly smile and willingness to help. Breakfast was brought to my room by either of the lovely girls, Ghada or Rasha, who greeted me with their genuine smiles and helpfulness - what a nice and good start to the day! The location of the hotel is marvellous - it is right in the centre of the city, overlooking the very famous ‘Taalat Harb Square’, and ‘Tahrir Square’ plus museum are about a 10 minute walk away – all very handy and accessible. For retail therapy and shoe buying, the street lying to the opposite side of ‘Taalat Harb Square’ comes totally alive at night with everybody out and about, accompanied by the sound of cars blowing their horns and this is where I found myself buying shoes at 11.00pm on Saturday night after my excursion to the Pyramids earlier in the day. All in all, I would definitely recommend ‘Cairo Inn’ as a very safe and very friendly place to stay – it is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The crumbling charm of this building constructed in the mid 1800s+?, along with many others in the vicinity all need financial help. What was once dubbed ‘Paris on the Nile’ for the downtown district’s design, is still evident by looking at many of the beautiful building fascades with their stone entrances and it was in one of these that I am grateful that I stayed for my 3 nights. I thank all at ‘Cairo Inn’ for my stay – very well done!…
